I remember almost all of those toys! My daughter is about to turn 10 and shes done with her toys. I'm going to go through them now and put a time capsule together for her to open when she's an adult. How fun! Thanks for sharing ❤❤
This is such a good idea. I wish I had more stuff from when I was a kid, cause we don't ever think about that kind of thing when we're young. I'll be keeping this in mind to do when my son gets old enough. Thank you for posting this!
Totally stealing this idea. Every 5 years or so I will prolly put some of her toys in a bag or backpack and then she can have them all when she is older.
These are my favorite type of videos you always bring back memories from the 90s for me so thank you I'm sad cuz I got rid of everything from my childhood
The store your thinking of is probably the Discovery store. I used to go all the time as a kid, they always had cool bug toys and those rain sound sticks. This video took me back!!
There were the ViewMaster toys too... you put discs with picture slides in them and then with a pull of a lever on the side advance to the next slide. Some of the slides looked 3D too. I liked the ViewMasters that looked like Mickey Mouse. 🙂
Oh my god! I love this trip down memory lane! I literally had about 80% of everything in your bag and because of that I'm searching for Popples as we speak. 😂😂
How did all these objects end up in one random bag. Like how did we go from purses to stationary to magnetic fish. Or, as a kid you were like, ‘’ hey, ya never know when you might need two plastic fake video cameras and one domino!’’
I hear you, my fashion sense in the 90s was nonexistent. Also do you remember how the limited too had the tag sticker with the girl with the butterfly wings. I would collect those and stick them to my bed frame 😋
I kind of wish I wasn’t such an organised neat freak, then instead of clearing out my bags and putting stuff away, I would have time capsules to re discover!
I'm in the middle of my fall cleaning right now and it's like you know I need a break to relax and to take a break to recoup. Your videos sincerely help my anxiety and so many others. Thank you so much, Bunny. We hope that we help you, too. ♡
20 years ago, in a previous life, I worked as an archaeologist. I loved it but working outside in Ireland during the winter wasn't fun. Egypt would have been a bit warmer.
This was truly a joy! My boyfriend and I laughed and laughed!! "4-year old me, wwimmin' up to the bar!" It was so fun watching such an original "Time Capsule/What's in My Bag?" video. How many people are lucky enough to have such a preserved gift from childhood? Seeing the things you had when you were so young make your taste in things now make so much sense! I mean that affectionately. I feel like we got up see more of you today, and I hope that you find your Grim Reaper coin pouch!
The doll 'popping her wig' as it were, was Jenine Melnitz from The Real Ghostbusters cartoon ^_^ The store you're thinking of is The Nature Company, I think. I miss that place. Its natural habitat was the local mall, and it was the only place I ever wanted to go. It had crystals and other assorted rocks, posters, rain sticks, telescopes microscopes, nature pack things that had samples you could look through, and a bunch of other stuff. It was THE BEST place in the mall, bar none.
The one in my mall in the 90s was called nature's habitat but it's exactly as she and you describe. I too loved that store. I always had to go in there anytime we went to the mall.
Bunny I just want you to know how much joy these videos bring me. I have crippling anxiety which is at an all time high right now and I also just gave up alcohol. These videos bring me so much comfort and I am so incredibly thankful for you. ❤

THEY DID BRING BACK MONSTER IN MY POCKET!!! The line was revived in the United Kingdom in 2003, titled Monster in My Pocket: The Quest, with deluxe figures of the principal monster characters and reissues of the series 1-2 monsters essentially unchanged. The toys were made by Corinthian Marketing. Pyramid Marketing was to have created an animated series, but it was never completed.
