Gorgeous! When you said pearls, I instantly saw on a larger white pearls necklace as a purposeful mix of styles, on the runway! Or can you see on a low slung belt??? Stylists spend big money on these! Must be a name for this type but escapes me. Get this seen in a magazine Emma, you could get orders. Time you step up to the big time! Start submitting. Wow! Wearable Art!! That is lovely. But not as lovely as Queen Emma's joy and excitement! I recall you were consuming making it as a choker. No matter how you proceedit is already stunning! When Iwas a young adult Ihad a small waist, 18" to 20" until I was in my early 40s. I bought 2" wide sppols of elastic and ruched satin tubes over the elastic, adding hook-&-eye closures to fit my size. An old prom dress from a Thrift Store would supply sparkly fabric to create a fancy design. I added crystals and beads, then stitched an opening along the back (similar to 'rod pockets' on curtains). I used the beaded piece to cover the hook-&-eye closure. I wore them and sold them. They were very popular. Not nearly as elaborate or lovely as your creation, of course. (Mine were portable, lightweight and not elaborate.) Does QE continue her yoga sessions in the new deck?

I've seen videos where they layer felt to the height they desire then cover it with beads. As to seeing the pink underneath I saw them use color markers you use for drawing and they would shade in the color of the bead underneath.
