Raymarine FLIR and AR Camera Installation

FLIR is short for "Forward Looking InfraRed" which is a thermal camera that has the unique ability to allow boaters to essentially see in the dark. This amazing and incredibly useful safety advantage has been in widespread use by Law Enforcement, USCG and local Search and Rescue juristictions for year and now is avaliable for the recreational boater.
Tom "Nelly" Nelson, a Raymarine Professional Angler, takes you from open box through an installation and initial use on the water.
Another relatively new Raymarine innovation is Clear Cruise AR or Augmented Reality. ClearCruise™ AR is bringing enhanced on water perception to Raymarine’s family of Axiom® multifunction displays. With ClearCruise AR, Raymarine Axiom users can make smarter decisions with navigation objects overlaid directly on Axiom’s high definition video display.

Wanted to say thanks for the video and real world use it helps a lot.. I'm looking to buy a new/used boat and I night fish a lot and navigating back to the dock at night can be super risky even with good light bar. It's nice to see a solution with the FLIR. I think it's a must have.

i cant imagine the ar200 would work very good inside a metal box

The AR 200 is also a GPS antenna, so that won't work at all. Pity.
