@@pepps1943 there's absolutely nothing wrong with liking Nancy Drew more. Definitely not! That's way cool! Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys are awesome and I also like the Disney princesses. :) It's really fun to me (and my sister) to be trying to solve mysteries!
Especially with his confrontation, like him calling out to you from the maze while you have to change the markers and hide. Id panicked if i didnt know what to do lmao
Pro tip: if you hate the magnetic maze puzzle, if you pick up the rock 10 times (I think) the boards go away. I discovered this one on accident when I was home sick playing!
Hey Michael, I've been watching you since I was 10. My first ND game was Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake. I'm 18 now. Thank you for uploading these videos! They help us get through these tough times 💖
I have played and loved the Nancy Drew games sense i was a kid i am 28 now and i still play them to this day. I think all of the Nancy Drew games have aged vary wall even the old ones still look good to me. My first Nancy Drew game was message in a haunted mansion back in the 90s when i was 7 years old.

We wear long sleeves so our forearms wont get sunburnt. Also helps if you're bundling up hay and you don't want itchy arms or straw lice crawling up your arm. Sunscreen only lasts a couple hours, then you've gotta reapply it. It's a pain and when you're working you tend to forget. But sunburn isnt the only reason farmers wear long sleeves. There's actually a lot of sense to it. Mud, dirt, even manure (yup!) sticks to your skin and your arm hair and it can hurt like hell at the end of the day when you've gotta scrub your arm to get the muck off. Washing a dirty shirt is a lot easier and less painful haha.
This game holds a special place in my heart. My father got me this game when he went to Arizona for work training for information technology disaster recovery.
Admirable is the Most Holy Name of God. Oh wow. Seven cups of sugar is an insane amount. I did make this cake too and followed directions posted by two sisters who have a Nancy Drew channel.
You can find a hint for the bridle puzzle in the same room. There is the same bridle hanging on a wall. Near containers with an animals food as i remember but im not sure.
I am 36, I played these growing up and now I play with my own kids (preschool/kindergartener they love it).. however now it seems harder to me and I come here to remember what to do to help them lol.
this was my first nd game, it brings me such good memories. I made an arrowhead hide and seek game for my 13th birthday party based on parts of this game,
The whole Ed getting an infection confused me. To my knowledge, doctors put antibiotics in anti venom...? So Ed should of already have been on antibiotics. Unless this is a much newer practice? Or I’m mistaken? Either way enjoyed the play through!
Maybe the infection started setting in before they got to the hospital? They are pretty far out in the desert, they might be hours from the nearest hospital.
It's very common for patients to pick up infections while in the hospital, especially the elderly. Not only are there a lot of sick and contagious patients in those hospitals but all the antibiotic use in them means there's a lot drug resistant germs around so these infections can be serious.
I like how they had voice actors read the love letters. It added an extra element to the plot. Meryl's journal made me tear up.
@@pepps1943 it's completely understandable though! It's super sad what happened, particularly with the father and daughter. 😭

Definitely some of the best writing in the series! Makes me want a spinoff novel about Dirk and Francis!❤
Just wanted to thank you for doing this marathon! Helps all of us get through the days so much easier
Shorty was always the creepiest culprit to me. This was also my first ND game 🤗
Same fellow gamer
I totally agree. Shorty the short order cook creeps me out to this day.
Shorty really ain't all that short height wise compared to the other men on the ranch.
I wonder why they call him "Shorty" then.
@@megabuster3940 my first thought was shorty for short order cook, but... I’m not so sure.
Especially with his confrontation, like him calling out to you from the maze while you have to change the markers and hide. Id panicked if i didnt know what to do lmao
I used to play these games when I was a wee lass- like 8 or 9
I’m 25 now and These still make me so happy 🌸🥰❣️🤩💛

Shorty is the CREEPIEST culprit in the ND series hands down.
Now that I rewatch this, I realize that I love how Tex and Mary are literally the only characters minding their own business in the game.

Watching the magnet puzzle made me so stressed. I remember the frustration
I just realized that cackling laugh in the end of the trailer for the next game is actually LouLou the bird xDDD

This was always my favorite of all the nancy drew games!
Me too, but I hate the dammed vegetables
Red Knott could use some notes from Dave and Sheriff Hernandez about how to react to Nancy getting clobbered from behind...

The Shining reference lmao

I really enjoy watching these Nancy Drew games. The host and games are very entertaining and fun to listen to. Thank you!
Love that you are doing this marathon Michael! Thanks!
Very first Nancy Drew game I played, discovered a 4 pack of games at a goodwill in good condition.
It's the fact that you can actually ripen unripe tomatoes inside that does it for me
I made the cake following the recipe in the game when I was in middle school, it was really gross and obviously not meant to be replicated lol
I did the same thing bahaha. I remember my mom was like "SEVEN CUPS OF SUGAR?!?!"
Wow i am not the only one I did the same thing it made a mess in the oven lol.
Admirable is the Most Holy Name of God.

I loved this game!!! I remember having to watch your tutorials to complete it years ago
Okay but why do the Rawleys get to keep the treasure and then they split it with Dave??? Nancy worked her butt off for that treasure!
This game is really making me face my fear of chickens and I knew death by chicken would be real someday lol
So, the game has helped you? I hope so! :)
Yesss one of my favorite nancy drew games! Thanks Michael!!
This was my first ND and the nostalgia hits hard.
Back watching the quaranstream while my family has to quarantine again 😬 so glad these were posted. Maybe do another? 👀
It's actually adviced to wear long sleve cotton here in Aus to protect from sunburn, sunscreen isn't always effective alone.
I love the soundtrack of this game! brings me so much memories of the first time I played
Doesn't the treasure belong to Dave because of Aunt Ellie?
I agree lol
Wait a minute, we can't even see what's in the basket of veggies. How do we know that Shorty's not lying?
I aspire to be as lazy as Shorty with his invisible pot
Dirk is the reason I'll never have realistic relationship expectations

No one at all:
Arglefumph: Woohoo!

I just love how in the cake task it uses a wet measuring cup for flour and uses a dry measuring cup for milk
When the phrase about Shorty comes up when picking the veggies - you know it's incorrect.
Obsessed with George’s convenient impulse airport purchase 😂
First ND game I bought, always a classic!
He really is awesome!
Mine too I saw this in my school schoolelastic book fair two Nancy drew games so I thought he why not check it out!
I am 36, I played these growing up and now I play with my own kids (preschool/kindergartener they love it).. however now it seems harder to me and I come here to remember what to do to help them lol.
what a beautiful horses
Heeeeere’s Shorty!
I just noticed Aunt Bet sounds a little like Emily from Message In A Haunted Mansion.
got a similar accent, that's for sure. Love when Shorty says "Oh, NO!" when Nancy doesn't pick ripe vegetables lol
Jordan Welch Hahahaha same!! Like calm down shorty we tried!
If Nancy tells Shorty tp pick them himself then that would be the end of the game as well.
MIchael goes off about the firewood but doesnt notice that the pile isnt cut which isnt that useful when trying to start a fire

Had the realization that Mary Yazzie and Tex are the Dwight and Angela of this game and I’m not mad about it.
The radio announcer sounds like Frank, does he not?
38:31 WHOOOPS!
42:20 WATCH OUT! 42:31 YIKES!
Fire the chicken lol
