Mixcóatl, from Nahuatl: Mixcóatl "Cloud Serpent" Mixtli, cloud; coatl snake
Also called Taras in Michoacán and Camaxtle in Tlaxcala, in Mexica mythology he is the god of storms, war and hunting. It is thought that the Mexica considered the Milky Way to be a representation of this god.
He is also a legendary character, father of Ce Ácatl Topiltzin Quetzalcóatl, and guide of a group of Chichimecas in Tula.
