Honestly, don't worry about people taking crap if you double a 10/11 against an Ace, I've actually started staying on most of my hard 14/15/16 against an dealer's Ace and I've been winning more of those hands. Most of the time it's a face/10 that comes out and lately I've been seeing a bunch of low cards under a dealers ace and I've been winning more of those hands with a dealer busting.
People at the tables look at me like it's my firs4 time playing.

I've watched you for some time now and on occasion you make some moves that I wouldn't, but I understand them. This doubling on a twelve, well there is no explanation for that. I would never split tens,although I understand why people do it at times. I would split tens before I would ever double on a twelve. I doubt even card counters would ever do that. Well at least you got it out of your system, I don't see you ever doing it again.

3:55:17 - LOL!!! Just imagine if you went "Oh, yikes" and you slam your hand into the table and the dealer accidentally hits your 20 but it didn't matter! You would have gotten the ace and the dealer would have still busted the 13 by dealing herself a 9
