if someone is looking for a small business opportunity, learning to repair these is right up there since most users could not. I'm a care giver and not easily intimidated but would hesitate with checking voltage and deciding on what parts to replace. However I'm up to taking this apart and keeping it clean and working. This is a great video. I take both photos and notes on any disassembly process.
I want to thank you for the great video. We purchased a Buzzaround Ex second hand, and this will certainly help my mechanically-included hubby to work on the machine. One thing we were surprised at is that there does not appear to be any fuses...??? The lights never worked on our scooter, and the batteries don't seem to hold a charge, even though they were brand new when we purchased the scooter. We've replaced the bateries but after a month, they no longer hold a charge either. Now, the dear machine is giving eight beeps. So... Here is my question... how do I get a service manual; and any ideas on how to address my problems?
You can get the service manual here: www.mobilityscootersdirect.com/mobility-scooters/golden-buzzaround-extreme-mobility-scooter-4-wheel.html There's also the manual to help you troubleshoot your problems. 8 beeps indicates a motor voltage problem which is better addressed by contacting the dealer where you purchased the mobility scooter.
I have buzzaround XLHD. When I have my hands in the normal steering position, the steering column wobbles from left to right. Not the part that locks the steering column, but the top part of the steering column. Is this normal and is there any way to tighten it?

You probably just need to tighten the tilt adjustment knob.
@@MobilityDirect I’ve tried that. It doesn’t do anything for the wobble.
Great video
Thanks David!
