I just need the last episode to have a happy ending. He deserves to meet his son and be back with his family and his people. They better not kill Michonne, either.
From what I understand AMC wanted to wait until the end of the season for the reunion but Danai argued against it. I know she talked about how she had to be the person to really fight for the romance and the way the love story was handled. I’m glad she did bc as a fan I would’ve been livid if I had to wait all season for them to be together again.
Haven’t watched anything walking dead related since the conclusion of the whisperer war. Which was like four years ago hahah but I watched this shows first ep and it was amazing
I immediately thought of the Negan & Carl scene when his face went crazy right before cutting his hand, thought his PTSD from that moment kicked in lol
Michonne actually did push the helmet of the first guy off too. I went back and looked again. But this was a great first episode, I can’t wait until we get that ‘What the hell’ conversation between Richonne❤
This episode was amazing!! If you don't realize when Okafor tells Rick about the cities he destroyed. They were Atlanta (Lori and Shane had watched it being bombed in season 1 or 2) 😱🤯🤯🤯 Now everything is connected!!
I really liked Okafor's character. Sad to see him go out after only one episode. Plus the acting was an easy 10/10. A perfect episode in every sense of the word.

I'm gonna say something you probably don't like, but it was kinda dumb they cut his hand off in the comics. That said, the prosthetic and the hidden blade are badass. But still, unnecessary.

Katana to the head to prevent turning, right? It is The Walking Dead still, after all!
Eight years since they've laid eyes on each other! They have a lot of catching up to do and a lot of adjusting to who they've become living without each other for so long.

They're getting better then their terrible spin offs before like World Beyond, but those were still just decent imo. This has been then first that's actually really good, now I just hope it holds up for the rest of the season. Fingers crossed!

Finally a spin off that's actually really good. It's been so disappointing remembering the peak era of Walking Dead and where we've been, but this brings me joy from that time again!
I am a big walking Dead fan. The beginning scene was filmed 5 minutes from my house where he was killing all the walkers. They had trailers everywhere.. I unfortunately didn't get to see them filmed in my town but I did go to Jersey City New Jersey for one of the episodes being filmed but Andrew Lincoln had left earlier but I saw danai Guerra and she was so close to me but I was so starstruck when she said hi I said oh my 😂😂😂😂 I got a picture from afar but still I regret not asking for her autograph and pic
Also fun fact the opening scene when he's killing the walkers in the abandoned lot you can see a brick Tower that was also where they filmed The karate kid when they were moving
I've been watching the walking dead since I was 8 years old way back in 2010 following this show was the most important show ever to me because I was into zombie survival game staff and the movie as well but this show is my number 1 favourite in my book

Yes, Omaha falling as a city was in World Beyond. And I don't know if they'll say it in this show, but it was the CRM that was responsible. Also, Major General Beale was a name mentioned aswell. So far this has been almost a sequel to World Beyond more than the Rick-less seasons of TWD

On second viewing, I remembered that Michonne's weapon in the first trailer has Michonne using that whistling weapon on the hoard of walkers. I wish I had noticed that before the big reveal!

It was an episode that literally compared it to an episode of The Boys. An unexpected and bloody moment could no longer happen. Rick cutting his hand, and Okafor's death was very brutal. And reunited once again the two special person for this absolutely final end episode. RICK AND MICHONNE MADE ME CRY!!!😍😍😍😍😭😭😭😭
Happy will be watching your reactions once again and I have already watched this episode twice because I missed Rick so much. The first five minutes had me gasping and crying and in shock, but it was the greatest episode.
They’ve already green lit a season 2 of this show. I knew they couldn’t leave us with just 6 episodes. Rick is the center of TWD universe. We will never stop wanting more of his character.

In a way im glad it wasnt and they made it a bit unpredictable to feel fresh to me and many others who thought the same
When Rick left the show that's when I think viewership went down It's like having a Batman show with no Batman, Rick was The Walking Dead And when the show ended without him being there it just didn't feel right. Them having Rick cut off his own hand that didn't sit well with me.

Andy is a phenomenal actor and Danai looked gorgeous with her braids and outfit changes.
I live in the UK but it was only a couple of years ago that I realised he was english. Same with Nick in FearTWD.
What I love about Rick as a character is that he actually feels pain and whimpers. He almost always losses in fights and isn't always right.

Absolutely agree, I think Dead City was Okay, then Dixon was better, just lacking in a few areas. This one feels like prime TWD.

It was an episode that literally compared it to an episode of The Boys. An unexpected and bloody moment could no longer happen. Rick cutting his hand, and Okafor's death was very brutal. And reunited once again the two special person for this absolutely final end episode. RICK AND MICHONNE MADE ME CRY!!!😍😍😍😍😭😭😭😭

Happy will be watching your reactions once again and I have already watched this episode twice because I missed Rick so much. The first five minutes had me gasping and crying and in shock, but it was the greatest episode.
They’ve already green lit a season 2 of this show. I knew they couldn’t leave us with just 6 episodes. Rick is the center of TWD universe. We will never stop wanting more of his character.

I swore they were going to name this episode "years gone by" and have him waking up in the hospital. In a way im glad it wasnt and they made it a bit unpredictable to feel fresh to me and many others who thought the same

When Rick left the show that's when I think viewership went down It's like having a Batman show with no Batman, Rick was The Walking Dead And when the show ended without him being there it just didn't feel right. Them having Rick cut off his own hand that didn't sit well with me.
