Ha! There is no plagiarism at all - take a look at "16 Basta" CD song description - Arkadi Ostrovski & Stig Anderson. BTW Soviet Union and Sweden had frindship and similar communistic values that time. Actually Sweden is much communistic today than Soviet Union 30 years ago.
That could be written on the CD sleeve from 90s, but originally on the 1964 LP sleeve it was indicated "written by Thomas/Rossner", without any mentioning of Ostrovsky. That's called plagiarism.

This is a nice example of plagiarism. Russian song was sung in Finland at the world festival and a few years later the mediocre finnish band had decided to steal the song to earn the money. That time Soviets could not sue the bastards so they used that chance. The cruel and dishonest nation, what can I say.
First performance of the song "May There Always Be Sunshine" on the Soviet radio was in July of 1962.
No doubt, within that aggressive dictatorship there was many good things created by good people. Great song, didn't know it came from Russia/Soviet.
