The trademark is only for clothing so technically she can use the phrase on makeup items and it’s completely legal, but I agree it’s a shitty thing to do

I work in social media marketing at a newer company and I know for a fact any trademarks like that go through several lawyers and searches to make sure you aren't copying anyone. So, the brand 100% knew about Lonely Ghost when they did this trademark and found the exception, and that's what makes it even worse considering as a co-brand owner Addison would 100% be informed about these things unless she's not actually doing as much work in the company as she claims. On top of that, the patent and the way they responded leaves room to interpretation in that they can start putting this on any makeup-related item, therefore stopping Lonely Ghost from ever using their trademarked phrase and expanding their brand inventory. It's fucked up and anyone who knowingly supports the brand knowing it is rooted in entitlement and nasty corporate games should do better.

The products that I really want but haven’t bought for various reasons: -Oden’s Eye Alva palette (Shipping is so expensive 😭) -Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals (I already have too many neutral palettes) -Fenty Beauty “What it dew” setting mist (I go through setting spray like it’s water and it’s so expensive) -Benefit cookie highlighter (I’ve heard mixed reviews about it) If anyone has tried these products, I would love to know how they’ve worked for you and if they’re worth the prices!
I really love the Alva palette! I’m not the biggest fan of the scent (reminds me of chalk) but every shade looks so good on the eye (especially the glitters which have undertones that I rarely see in eyeshadow palettes)!
Oh man I want Alva too but you're so right with the shipping. Also since I love mauves and golds I already have shadows in that colour story so can't justify buying another one.
The primark sponges! I've used them and a beauty blended and honestly the primark ones are just as good. They're soft but still dense enough to push in makeup and blend it. Definitely try them if you can. You can get 2 for like 1.50

I'm glad more people are knowledgeable on how fragrance messes with the skin. I've always had sensitive skin and can't use any fragrant products. When I first got into makeup/skin care it was impossible to find anything without a scent. Now companies are finally putting out hypoallergenic products more often so I can test more items that work for me.

I would recommend Japonesque sponge. Almost half the price and doesn't soak up as much product as original beauty blender but still gives a good result and works nice with powders too.
The EcoTools sponge is my favourite! It works well even when you don’t wet it (which I don’t do sometimes due to extreme laziness). It comes in a pack of two and the big one is 👌.
Yes you should totally try Laura Lee, Manny MUA, and maybe some collabs as well!!! But I have definitely heard the most praise over Manny MUA’s eyeshadow and highlight formulas, and his new blush pallet.
So I think the Scott Barnes palette with the more “mismatched” colors is actually supposed to be fore working makeup artists. The colors are magenta, cyan, and yellow-the three true primary colors. So you can literally make almost any color you want with those three shades. I think it’ll be best for those just starting out with makeup and learning color theory, but that’s about it

You must try GlamShop sponge! It’s my all time favourite. This is a polish, ethical, woman-owned, cruelty free brand. Also take a look at their pressed gliters, they are honestly amazing.

Juno and co's microfiber sponge is pretty good! its 11$, here in Australia, so its pretty affordable. If you can get past the microfiber feel of the sponge, it blends beautifully. Love your channel Angelika!
the real techniques beauty sponge only lasted me about a year before it basically started falling apart. i’ve been using the e.l.f. beauty sponge for almost 2 years now and it’s still all intact. i definitely recommend e.l.f.’s beauty sponge if you’re looking for a cheap beautyblender dupe :)
In terms of makeup sponges, I feel the same about the change and I noticed it too. Now I really enjoy the ELF camo concealer sponge. It feels like the original RT sponge. The shape is interesting but can be used precisely around the eyes or nose. I also like the colourpop sponges but they aren't as accessible in the UK.
I would loooove to see you try Nabla Cosmetic (Italian brand so you don't have to pay extra shipping) and their eyeshadow quality is amazing (mostly their cuties collection)

My favourite make up sponge is by L.A. Girl! I never thought I'd find something I like as much as the OG BeautyBlender but I think these are even better, and they're like a tenner for two sponges. I didn't like the shape at first, it's similar to the RealTechniques sponge, but now I find it super convenient, I can better powder around my nose with the edge. I also find they don't tear as easily as BBs.
I would like to see you try UA-camr makeup brands, mainly because your opinion wouldn't be so biased. I have the Nudie Patootie palette by LLLA and a few liquid lipsticks, and I really enjoy them, they are matte but not drying (FYI).

The Juno and co velvet sponge is also fab and pretty cheap, but I know some people feel about the velvet texture - I love it but something to keep in mind. Xx

the real techniques beauty sponge only lasted me about a year before it basically started falling apart. i’ve been using the e.l.f. beauty sponge for almost 2 years now and it’s still all intact. i definitely recommend e.l.f.’s beauty sponge if you’re looking for a cheap beautyblender dupe :)
In terms of makeup sponges, I feel the same about the change and I noticed it too. Now I really enjoy the ELF camo concealer sponge. It feels like the original RT sponge. The shape is interesting but can be used precisely around the eyes or nose. I also like the colourpop sponges but they aren't as accessible in the UK.
I use the juno & co cloud sponge and it’s super bouncy. I love the shape for the under eye and the size is perfect to apply your foundation quickly

Flower Beauty sponge is the bessstttt it’s so much softer than the original BB in my opinion, it’s stronger so lasts longer and it’s way way cheaper!

I use the wet n wild sponges. It's not as dense as a lot of other sponges. and it's only $3 or $4
im not really a makeup wearer or someone who finds joy in makeup but ive been an agelika watcher for over a year and seeing all the growth and then the second channel and the dedication and the fact she does something she enjoys is why im still around because her personality is captivating and extremely enjoyable
I know it’s more of a cheap drugstore brand, omg pleeaase try the new e.l.f tropical collection! I was actually amazed! The lip glosses are beautiful and the highlighter the brought out looks like a gloss on your face but it’s a powder! I’m so impressed and in love
Em cosmetic eye liner are one of the best that I’ve ever use. Glide on the eye smoothly.
My favourite make up sponge is by L.A. Girl! I never thought I'd find something I like as much as the OG BeautyBlender but I think these are even better, and they're like a tenner for two sponges. I didn't like the shape at first, it's similar to the RealTechniques sponge, but now I find it super convenient, I can better powder around my nose with the edge. I also find they don't tear as easily as BBs.
I would like to see you try UA-camr makeup brands, mainly because your opinion wouldn't be so biased.
I have the Nudie Patootie palette by LLLA and a few liquid lipsticks, and I really enjoy them, they are matte but not drying (FYI).
I’ve never tried the original beautyblender but I love the nanshy marble sponge! Very soft and bouncy and so affordable!
Uhg I love anti hauls so much! Also, in regards to the beauty blender thing, I haven't tried the original beauty blender but the elf pink sponge is really nice and soft.
I loveeeee the unicorn cosmetics makeup sponge, I just love how huge it gets when you wet it and for me it makes my foundation apply beautifully :)

not gonna lie i'm kind of enjoying using the make up sponges from primark... they were crazy cheap and they work well for me and my friend
The Eco Tools sponge is a good one. A lot of people love the E.L.F. one too . Like them both, but prefer the Eco Tools.

I recommend trying the unicorn cosmetics sponge, super inexpensive and works amazingly! The Juno and co velvet sponge is also fab and pretty cheap, but I know some people feel about the velvet texture - I love it but something to keep in mind. Xx
