As I’m listening to this the bottom line is Mercedes doesn’t have the personnel that they’ve had since the W07.. Yes Lewis click off 5 straight WDC’’S and a major part of that was the personnel, Paddy Lowe, Aldo Costa, definitely Mark Ellis, ( Performance Director ,) Andy Cowell ( LPUD ) I’ll also include Eric Blandin ( LPUD on the W10/11/12 ) a big time lost when Loic Serra who went to Ferrari and whether people like it or not Mike Elliot ( HOA ) and btw Mike had a great deal to do with the Lewis’s success as the HOA at Mercedes AMG F1 and also Jerrod Murphy ( Chief Aerodynamicst ) ok getting back to the crowd boo-hiss towards Mike Elliot I get the frustration but RB has adopted somewhat a similar form of NSPD from the W-13 for the RB 20 and the car is still lights out… and also since Mike Elliot has left the team the car has gone backwards even moreso .. anywoo lets also look at the Sim racer and software that they’re using .. Mercedes has still basically stuck with the Playseat store Sim racer using rFpro software where as RB went an entirely different direction in using the same sim but using Ansys which has been reported to have a better feedback on how fluid the dynamics can and will effect the car in real time…well all I can say to that is that it’s being seen of both RB19/20.. but let’s get back to personnel James Vowes was absolutely a huge loss for the team now Andy Shoveling isn’t bad but he’s not James Vowes, obviously James Allison ain’t no hack ( The W11 is his masterpiece ) because he designes a car that’s been touted as the best F1 Car ever made..it has 2 fastest single lap qualifying records ever recorded and if I’m not mistaken the fastest lap pace ( 164.267 mph ) in 2020 not bad for a guy that’s been said not to be that great of a driver by loyalist of you know who.. anyway if one is going to give ( Well deserved )kudos for the W11 to James Allen’s Masterpiece then major props have to be given to Mike Elliot as well …..The Defense rest your Honor..

Tho it’s the down force is generated mostly from floor .. if the side pod is shaped as an upside down aeroplane wing that too add to down force.
