The BLACKPINK members were there to mentor BABYMONSTER while they were trainees. Lisa from BLACKPINK is actually close with the Thai members and goes to lunch and shopping with them when she get a chance.
They’re called Babymonster because despite their young ages, they are all absolute monsters. It is essentially a group comprised of aces and all-rounders (literally YG’s goal when creating this group), and even the singers either know how to rap, have shown potential, or are learning. Asa (or Acesa) and Ahyeon (golden all-rounderg sing and rap, and Ruka (the other rapper) has shown pretty good vocals during pre-debut content and a bit during their Stuck in the Middle ballad. They have multiple jaw-dropping performances both in singing and rapping (the singers have gone viral multiple times, and for example Asa was rapping Godzilla at 14 with ease). Trust me when I say that you really wont be disappointed when watching more of their content, and learning more about these monsters!
