How to extract Elevations from DEM to points of sampling grid in ArcGis

I would like to ask before you are processed the fishnet, is the rasterdem file and the area file must be processed first using arctool extract to mask? because after I tried alone, I failed. The attribute table only shows one point,, doesn't like what shows on the video.

Is that point value the mean elevation? Is there any way how to extract minimal and maximal elevation values to the points also?

Error readin OID from table. Reading rows has been stopped. Check that the datasource is valid. That's the error message i get when i try to open the attribute table of the points. what to do?
