Sucks alright, I would be extremely pissed. I would think it would buff out, but I would talk to your friend first before putting lacquer thinner on it, as it might damage the clear coat.

Stay away from other peoples cars i park farrrr awaaayy as possible. But as for the mark bro try some brake cleaner on a towel and wipe it one way only. DO NOT GO OVER IT TO MANY TIMES. I hit a wall and had a HUGE tan mark on my grey car and with brake cleaner it removed all the paint from the wall not the car. Just some advice to get the mark off your car.
