The name "Jujutsu Kaisen" was not taken from Naruto. Jujutsu is a normal Japanese word, and "jutsu" means technique, magic, or method. Wa-jutsu: art of storytelling Gei-jutsu: art Nin-jutsu: ninja techniques Ju-jutsu: curse techniques I-jutsu: medical techniques Ma-jutsu: magic Ken-jutsu: sword techniques And many more! To begin with, almost all of the objects, techniques, and people in Naruto are named after various things from Japanese history, mythology, and real people. For example, Izanami and Izanagi are a married couple who created the Japanese archipelago, and Sasuke was originally the name of a famous Japanese ninja. Also, I think there's quite a bit of misunderstanding in pointing out the similarities between Naruto and Jujutsu Kaisen, and the point about plagiarism. (I'm sure there are quite a few influences). But I do see some wrong points made by people who are obviously mistaken or don't understand much about Japan (manga, anime, culture, history).
Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man is actually one of the closest examples of animated realistic scenes which look good. Using rotoscope in anime doesnt look as great because the rotoscoped character always stands out from the background. Most uncanny example of this is Aku no Hana
If anything, Gege took way more inspiration from Hunter x Hunter and Yu Yu Hakusho than Naruto, considering Togashi and HxH are Gege's favorites. Naruto also took a heeeeelll lot from HxH bcs Kishimoto loves Togashi. Your favorite mangaka's favorite mangaka is Togashi Yoshihiro, plain and simple. Most newbies to JJK compare it to Naruto, when they're nothing alike. Considering JJK character are constructed way better, specially female ones. 😂 Also 12:46 middle dude is right, it is a shark in the aquarium, to be specific a whale shark. It's a shark, it just has that name bcs of size, shape, and its food.
Naruto fans when they see word "jutsu" :"hey that's the word from naruto!" When literally jutsu is just a japanese word for techique, method, etc. Jujutsu kaisen definitely took inspiration from naruto but its not that much.Jujutsu kaisen is mainly take inspiration from bleach and yu yu hakusho said by the creator
The 1st ending is definitely rotoscope animation. It’s a way to make an animation feel more life-like. One anime that uses rotoscoping is Yuri on Ice, where they mixed traditional 2D animation with rotoscoping to capture the grace of ice skating (Yuri on Ice was also produced by Mappa).
Making animation from footage of real people or animals or objects is a technique called rotoscope. Early disney and disney inspired animation studios had a lot of rotoscope in their movies (prime example is snow white). It adds so much fluidity and makes the drawing process much easier, but taking all the footage is honestly sometimes too much work
The realistic movement is called rotoscope..and its exactly how you described it. However there are animators out there that are so talented they dont need to rotoscope real life video. Im not sure if the ending song at minute 4 is rotoscoped or not tho Also, "you are my special" is a direct conversation Sukuna (the main villain) has with Yuji (the antagonist) In fact the entire fourth openings lyrics are a direct point of view from the cursed spirits and villains.
its defentily not a rip off of Naruto, but you can see the way Naruto influenced the the artist, as well of bleach, which is understandable since the mangaka grew up as a Big 3 fan!
there are anime movies called "The case of hana and alice" and "Ongaku: our sound" which used rotoscoping to animate. the first one do it to hide the aging of actors since it is a prequel to a live action flim "Hana and alice". The later used it because it is a crowd funded film.
What I find funny is it says non anime fans react to jjk, however in the beginning of the video he says he is a fan of jjk and the name of your Chanel is literally high on anime
Jutsu isnt a naruto thing. Jutsu is a japanese word for technique.

What about gen- and nin-
Isn’t ”jutsu” the term for fighting techniques specifically? And doesn’t ”Ju Jutsu” roughly translate ”gentle fight”?

at 4:05 you are probably right, its called rotoscope animation, when they trace over live footage, some animes use it quite often
Each of the songs hit much harder if you can see the lyrics. You should look up a Lyric video for these!
Yeah, full version of the songs with lyrics would be nice
chainsawman and jujutsu kaisen are not made by the same people, only animated by the same studio.
That’s what they said dawg
