Why is Jim Thome not on this list? Jim Thome is #8 on the all time HR list, he has a great all time slugging percentage, all time on base average is very high, multiple all star teams, first ballot HOF. If you read this post, please send me a response. Jim Thome is the most underrated and overlooked HOF player of all time. I don't get it.
I almost put him on the list for the sheer fact that he is #8 all time home run leader but I went with Manny Ramirez instead for the 9X Silver Slugger awards which held more weight that the home runs imo. In all honesty I do think Thome should be on the list I just couldn't figure out where.

Thanks for the positive input! McCover and Thome came so close to making the list! I actually had Thome on here but replaced him with Ramirez due to his 6X Silver Sluggers... I might do another list and include players soley by their HR and RBI counts.

No I stand by my statement steroid cheats. There is a reason they are not in the HOF. That is disrespectful to the players that played the game not on steroids. Now if the whole league was getting juiced then you have a case.

Dude. These videos take more work than I think people understand. I don’t post on UA-cam. But on other channels people give me s#it all the time about pronouncing names of players that played before I was born. This guy makes awesome vids and a ton of research and work goes into them.

@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR Not a power hitter? He hit over 20HR’s for 10 consecutive seasons amassing 358 HR for his career. 90 RBI’s or more for 12 consecutive years. Never struck out more than 60x in a season. Growing up watching baseball in the early 70’s and still watching today there are not many power hitter who come close. Just my humble opinion.
