9:46 Justin, don't put Jisoo in a box. You need to know this about the most underappreciated member of Blackpink, Jisoo. Jisoo is one of the most interesting members of Blackpink. She is an incredibly smart and very humble person. She is the one who balances the group between pop and kpop in Blackpink. From what I have observed, the other three girls sing in a very non-Korean way, whereas Jisoo is the one who sings in a very Korean tone. Her voice color hits different. Jisoo is as talented and amazing as her bandmates.
The fact that she auditioned with dreams of becoming an actress. She was trained for almost 4 years in acting. YG moved her to train her as an idol for a girl group, which is now Blackpink as they were lacking girls who matched Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé's talent. They were supposed to debut just within 1 year. This means she had to work the hardest to catch up with her bandmates. She always thanks Jennie to help her when she was lost. In this very cruel and competitive world, my girl did it.
I truly understood Jisoo as a person when I saw the Zach Show interview, and he was asking that he saw Jisoo acting and was asking her that will the viewers to get to see her acting or not. Jisoo said that she only wants to focus on Blackpink for now. Acting is her dream and she sacrificed her dream to be in a group where she is constantly given the least. People think she overshadows the other members as she has the least and cannot speak fluent English. People always play the language card on Jisoo and it is disgusting. Why are people exploring foreign content in the first place when they don't want to make an effort of turning on the subtitles?
If you see Jisoo in interviews you will observe she carries herself in a very charming manner. She knows what to say and when to say. She is incredibly street smart, well-balanced, and intelligent. I read some books she has on her Goodreads and understood why she behaves that way. The director who was engaged with making the Netflix documentary for Blackpink mentioned that she steps back so that others can shine, this explains Jisoo a lot as a person. She is given the least and still managed to amaze millions of hearts with what she has. Honestly, if we, blinks would not protest and ask YG to give us more of Jisoo she would still have the least in every song in Blackpink.
Plus, good news, we will have lead actress Kim Jisoo from the most anticipated Kdrama of 2021, Snowdrop. Support her guys. Girly is fulfilling her dream.

True dude. And the thing is she had the ability to sing and dance too even though her full focus was on acting. That's y she was chosen cos they knew she could pick it up quickly. Language not a problem at all. For those who r teasing her for English.. remember it's kpop, korean pop .. it doesn't matter if one is not fluent with English in it. Cos it's just a language that's to be learnt by everyone only bcos u can communicate with others who don't know their language. It's a language and not knowledge
@@archanarosry1969 Thanks for the support. I understand language doesn't determine talent. However, some people choose to pick on Jisoo and call her the least impactful member cuz she cannot speak english. Apparently, a famous xenophobic youtuber stated that he feels less connected to Jisoo because she speaks the least English. Feeling least connected to a member is alright but when the problem is language it isn't fair.

Jisoo is actually the oldest and considered one of the savage and honest members of the group. She doesn’t try to sugarcoat anything, so you can always trust her to tell the full honest truth. Even so, she is also the unnie (older sister) of the group and is always there to comfort the members. If you wanna see more of Jisoo’s savage side, search up savage moments, react to some rap compilations, and check out dance videos like the Yonce dance and Side to Side

You see Jisoo as someone who is "out of place" in these types of songs because that's how YG pushed her image before. YG created this image of Jisoo as someone feminine, elegant, 'the pink in blackpink', etc, but if you really know their dynamics, jisoo actually slays both the 'black' and the 'pink'. She can be both soft or savage if she wants to. I'm glad they aren't pushing that image too much right now because people need to see how versatile THE KIM JISOO is. 😌
