hi mad dog i just got mine HDX 68 last week from amazon what do i need to increase the power i also have the 68 revolver and the HDR 50 revolver what do i need to replce to increase their power
A lot depends on what version you have, my HDX68 was the 7.5 joule version, so I fitted the powerkit and removed the valve block, now gets about 38-40 joules. My HDR68 started as a 16 joule version but was shooting 27-30 joules right out of the box (just fitted a tuning barrel to fit some ammo better) My HDR50 started as an 11joule version, I removed the valve block to start (got it up to about 15-16joules) then did the powerkit, tuning barrel and drilled the restrictor disc to 1.5mm, that now makes 25-30 joules depending on ammo used. For the 7.5 joule hdr50 you will need the disc that is in the powerkit, before you remove the valve block, or your co2 will be gone in a couple of shots.

@@Maddogairguns Home-Defence-24! Get it done!! 👍👍
@@Maddogairguns that's weird. I heard nothing offending.
But anyway, I am looking forward to see what you are going to do with the toy. I got mine today, but as I live in Germany there is not much I am allowed to change on my own toys.
@@tonyross4365 Powerkit68 turned up this morning, hopefully new video coming soon.
@@4q2 I mentioned tuning for more power, that's all I can think. Most of my videos can't get monetised, so it's nice when they do.
looks nice i gave the side by side
Yes, I do too.
3:08 "You can load your balls in there" I will not reccommend that. Othervice good video sir.
Might be a bit uncomfortable.
Is this gun legal to buy, own and use, in the UK? I have no certificate of any kind! I can't find anybody who knows the answer to this question!
Yes, in the UK you can have the 16 joule version, due to its length it comes under air rifle regulations and 16 joules is just under the 12ft lb legal limit.
@@Maddogairguns You could not have given me better news than that! Thanks, a dozen! 😃
Merci pour la présentation 🤙👍🤘🏼
Je conte sur toi pour le débridé 😉😁
Bonne continuation 🤙
You didn't shoot the pumpkin yet did you
No, it got too cold in this video, I didn't shoot the pumpkin in the next video either. But I have it sat here ready for some outdoor shooting.
Still Loading…..
Shame it’s co2 looks badass thou
Yes, bit of a downside, but it is still awesome.
the 40 j comes with a 88 gram co2.
Talk about a misleading title. I thought this was going to be a video about an actual shotgun...
Your fault for assuming then isn't it.
@@lolzlolz69 no. Because words have meaning.
Can you imagine applying for an airgun loicense? Sad.
It sucks but here in the UK you are far less to get shot at because of strict firearms laws so having something like the hdx or hdr gives you a massive advantage . Either way I am a firm believer in 2a and believe the UK needs to adopt the u.s constitution .
Can you imagine not being safe at school
You'll still get shot by criminals with guns, but also being stabbed with knives, or chopped with machetes being way more common, with no way to defend yourself. I'll take the 2A any day over that.
I wish the US had stricter laws
@@ayeeffkay move to North Korea, they're really strict there, you'll love it. Off to the gulag with you then.
Idk understand what is the purpose of this thing? Can't hunt with it and you aren't gonna stop anyone with it
It’s more like a toy for people don’t have chances to have a real gun.
Pepperballs deter most assailants.
@@J0HN_3_16 pepperball are illegal in the UK though arnt they?
False. My TR50 sent an intruder to the ER.
Bullseye!
do want to sell it
No, sorry. This one is a keeper.
Now only of it was real
fake it til you make it...nice
Inconsistent power = poor accuracy. Why bother? Looks like a recipe for frustration and disappointment. G.
I've since tuned it to 30 joules, now it's pretty good.
