If nothing else those little pouches make a great, stealthy way to belt carry a spare, standard magazine for something like a Ruger LCP or Kel Tec P3AT in a way that maintains the deep concealment of having a pocket gun while still being pretty easy to access.
Gerber and leatherman are so expensive you woudn't even want to use to since its too "valueble" I have something like this. It is robust and tough. It doesn"t matter if its "cheap". Having one of these is better than no tools in case of an emergency. Good review.

You can open that can with pliers after cutting it a little bit with can opener and still you have knife in it too these multi tools are must have in edc
You're going in the wrong direction with the can opener. I have a can opener that size on my nail clippers that works well in the opposite direction. You used the can opener on the bottle instead of the bottle opener/flat blade screwdriver combo.
I have several multi's that don't have brand names or any form of identifiers that are nothing less than folding tanks. You could take down Eiffel with them and not even wear them down any.
IMO, Ozark Trails could make the tool much safer by simply turning the sharp blade, the serrated blade and/or the saw blade around the other direction and make it so those blades open from the inside of the tool like the pliers. IMO, the other tools could still open from the outside with little danger of serious injury. No doubt, those smaller tools would hurt if they closed on your fingers, but I do not usually use them in a manner that would make that too much of a problem. I own and carry their $10.88 18-tool multi-tool with black scales (not sure if it is still available). The blade easily sharpened literally to razor-sharp and seems to hold an edge well enough for my needs. The other tools are well designed in my opinion and very functional. But, IMO, the fact that there are no locks limits the tool's usefulness. All-in-all, I consider the tool to be an excellent value, and if I lose it or break it, I am only out $10.88. IMO, some of the individual tools on this multi-tool are better designed than the comparable tools on some of my Leathermans. All of that being said, given a choice between a Leatherman for hardcore EDC needs and the Ozark Trails tools, Leatherman wins hands down. In the end, I expect the $10.88 tool to be less dependable in a L&D situation. JMHO BTW, thanks for the honest fair review of the tool.

Lock in, push the point into the can, life the point up, slide the point to the near side of can tear, push point in and cut towards you, raise point slide back and push down ... Keep going. The idea is to keep the tear going and not puncture a new hole with each stroke then connecting the holes. You want a continuous tear around the can top. Once you get the rock and drag down, your going to laugh at yourself for seeing how easy and quick it is.
Just pay 40bucks more for a swiss army knife (victorinox) and you go with the best. A knife is like a gun; You need to invest a little more to trust your live on it. But still, good test.
I’ve had a few of these, they are worth more then the $4 for sure I mean what better tool can you get for $4? But they also have one for $10, that has a black rubberized grip with a better sheath and a belt clip, The sheath on yours is very cheap, that belt loop will come unstitched very easily so don’t rely on that sheath for long. This would be a good low cost addition to the stealth gear box you reviewed, or just small survival kit addition. But defiantly want some gloves for this. Oh and the $10 one does have a locking system to keep the tools from closing on you while using them and that’s a big advantage to me. But for $4, it’s hard to find a better multi use tool.
Here, Wranglestar and a few others all popped up in my feed the past 2 hrs.. testing cheap Multi tools.. Hmm. If you already have a Leatherman, this certainly won’t replace it. If you don’t have a Leatherman, this might be a decent, cheap multi tool to use while you save for a Leatherman. Or it might be a good thing to just stash in your BOB or glove box.

Once you get the rock and drag down, your going to laugh at yourself for seeing how easy and quick it is.
Just pay 40bucks more for a swiss army knife (victorinox) and you go with the best. A knife is like a gun; You need to invest a little more to trust your live on it.
But still, good test.
@Emmanuel Goldstein nope the Victorinox is better and I own almost all of the Leathermans 🙄

@@marko11kram fair enough
@Emmanuel Goldstein lol not what's in the video! It's good for it's size and weight to carry it's just nice sort of like how the Micra Leatherman is
I’ve had a few of these, they are worth more then the $4 for sure I mean what better tool can you get for $4?
But they also have one for $10, that has a black rubberized grip with a better sheath and a belt clip,
The sheath on yours is very cheap, that belt loop will come unstitched very easily so don’t rely on that sheath for long.
My first thought was.. did one do it and others copied or is there a sharing of ideas amongst the UA-camrs that come up with ideas.. then carry out those ideas using different brands of the same items....
I bought a couple of these for the glove box and the kitchen drawer. Not much but I figure if it lasts me a day or 2 until I can get to a good one it's ok.
i really enjoyed this video, thanks
Glovebox/tackle box tool
The serrated edge is crappy but you could use it to scale fish
You can always sharpen the knife blade. It's the grips that would stop me from buying.
Hmm. If you already have a Leatherman, this certainly won’t replace it. If you don’t have a Leatherman, this might be a decent, cheap multi tool to use while you save for a Leatherman. Or it might be a good thing to just stash in your BOB or glove box.
Add some ranger bands to keep the side tools from getting out
May be a good tool to start teaching a kid with. Not worried about them losing it.
Not your Leatherman Wave but it’ll do in a pinch
Think of it as a Emergency one time use tool like harbor freight.
Got the bigger ones for my folks for the glove box. Something to give to people who don't care for knives or kids.
Kids love these things. And there's nothing wrong to have one or two in a bag.
Ozark makes pretty good stuff, no matter where you buy it.
If you squeeze too hard with pliers the sheet metal will give out.... It is a lightweight tool but better than nothing for sure.... I still have my busted one
Thank you for good test
I have one of them and they're pretty good
Great video sir. You going review the cheap Walmart folding knife?
Very impressive 4 dollar multi tool Sootch00. As always long live the republic my friend.
For that price you could buy a whole shelf of them and just use a new one every time the old one breaks
grips to fit over the two sides of the handle(s) could be easily made. Most knives I've ever purchased needed a good sharpening before first use. : )
The saw is a fish scaler
Hey dere senor "Sootchie"! Bought a tool almost exactly like dis, years ago. It does pretty good for most things & very handy. BUT, dere is a "hitch"! I bent the jaws trying to cut a coat hangar!! The steel seems to be way too soft! Yais, she's a "softie"! Much better to put your money towards a better tool by a manufacturer you can trust!!! Consider what you might want to cut or bend & buy according to the size of tool; small tool, small schtoff; bigger tool, bigger schtoff. "Ach du lieber, mein schatz" und "gesundheit"!
Thanks for the review! It was very interesting. Wonder how the knife blade would be sharpened?
They also have bigger one made by ozarcs for the same price
I think I have on the exact same shirt as you right now. Sure looks the same.
I just bought one last week.didnt want to pay $40 for a squirt..
Or $50-80 for a juice.
@@77Infidel iv got a weakness for the juice.i have 3

Now I will look for the "new" S2. I prefer the scissors to the corkscrew, and I hope he doesn't acquire an affinity for wine any time soon.
What kind of a idiot thumbs down someone's video ! Good video very informative
Maybe they did not like it? Maybe a hater? Maybe a price snob?
@@fracturedhearts3734 just find it disrespectful
Why? I rarely down vote. I like to say why I don't like a video. Some people don't.
Especially a Sensible Prepper Video!
@Deercreek Society I will ask you the same thing. Why?
I've used this as an add-in to my "giveaway bag" that I have on hand to pass out to the homeless. Everyone needs a multitool, and "Karen" is less likely to call the police on a homeless guy with a pair of pliers.
Maybe the serrated blade is a fish scaler
Well, it didn’t rate a “Thumbs Way Up”. But in a pinch, as my old scoutmaster Jerry Inman would say! “it would be better than a sharp stick in the eye”.
So glad you did not get bit! I cringed a few times! I did laugh with ''here we have a larger nut!" I'd loan you my left one but I lost it in service, ha ha! If I may, could I recommend gloves next time, Brother? Ever since the M4 and sharp edges, gloves are dress for the day! I carry my RPK-47 more often... Nothing beats the Victorinox can opener on a real Swiss Army Knife! And going backwards. NOW! I need to know how to get WiFi to feed my laptop post hurricane and on the road to my midstate retreat! Storm chasers somehow do it! I know weps, but I need to know what and how for the WiFi! Anyone? I'm already spending $100 to get a new Belkin box and battery for another hurricane season, besides my radios and simple HD antenna tv. I want world wide to get news I can trust!
I wouldn’t buy this junk just the extra coin & at least get a gerber multitool but a leatherman is really the way to go for a quality tool with lifetime warranty.
I prefer buying three or four of these compared to one good one for my garage toolbox or tackle box. They're also nice to keep in the vehicle for an emergency. Don't they have two sizes of these? Which one was this?
sorry but is this a reupload cause i feel like ive seen this before
He recently did a Leatherman Juice.
$4 paperweight
Didn't you already do a video on this tool?
Thats what i thought too.
I am glad you posted this as I thought I was experience some kind of Mandela Effect or something. UA-cam listed this as a new video and the date on it is yesterday but when he started turning those bolts at the beginning I thought, "I KNOW I have seen this, before," and then I distinctly remembered him bending the can lid up rather than bothering with opening all the way around.
