Would be good if you got monster musk earlier, but more often than not I find myself with the burglars ring late spring or early summer year one from grinding coal and iron for basic sprinklers. Although you can get it from the bookseller iirc, idk what book you trade for it but maybe if your lucky you could do that.

Yeah I wish slingshots were easy to use with Mobile. Unfortunately, it only works on the Tap Touch mode, which is less precise/controllable in general use vs the one with the 2 button + joystick option.

Are you on switch or PC? I play on switch lite and I've found a lot of things seem way harder than PC players make it look. Then again, they could also just be better at it than I am lol
Okay I know you are a stardew girlie but try Dragon quest builders 2, its very similar but has a larger story. You can build a lot, despite the lack of romance the npcs give hearts (a type of currency later on). It has a demo on switch and is around 60$ usd. The mining is fun but unlocked later on, the 3rd chapter is my fav and I love it. The finale is so fun and you will(spoiler removed) love it! The monsters are creative as well. While it has some small cult themes part of the story is really fun, though sadly you cant revisit that spot ever again. There is some dlc, though you dont need it(it adds fishing). Ive played 300+ hours on it. My current project is rebuilding chapter 3's main area. My overall goal is to rebuild every island.

I usually choose the four corners farm as my home. I like it's symmetry. The only problem is that the farm totem statue is right in the middle of the farm. I have passed out so many times rushing back to the house. When I unlock mini obelisks, one goes on my porch, the other by the farm warp.
Sure, the Slingshot is fine now, but once upon a time you had to aim the thing backwards. Incredible how even once that was fixed, it still colored my opinion of it enough that I don't think to use it to this day.
honestly though, soo many people sleep on the monster musk. I played with three random people on a discord channel once and they would never use it. I don't understand why soo many people are afraid of combat in this game. You have so many different ways and strategies to use, from the straight up sword or hammer to playing bomberman, skull caverns edition. Sometimes, I will just drop 100k on megabombs and use only those in the mines or the cavern, thank god for the new stature buff,btw, it has saved my life a hundred times over in that game now
Monster musk + Infested level = easy slime charmer ring (I rly struggled w this without the monster musk lol) Also!! If you encounter an infested level, clear it and then exit the level, and then enter the same level again for easy farming!!
so ik the wiki says granny gives you the pot after you complete the community center but im playing on switch and i have done everything in the center except the fish tank and the bullitain board and she still gave me the garden pot so do those 2 things not count as finishing the community center or is this a bug on the switch version?

It’s one of the special order awards (these unlock in fall of year 1). Check for the Wizard’s request for ectoplasm, kill ghosts until you get it, and he’ll give you the recipe.

@@Meklein Combat quarterly can be traded for musk, but its a somewhat rare drop and costs 8000g to buy from the bookerseller.

I’ve played primarily on mobile…. Sling shots were just too unwieldy on a small phone! Now that I have an iPad, maybe I’ll give them another go.
