the speed you press the buttons really matter, to do the guard flying with the Gilgamesh like in the video, 1. you need to hold the royal guard style button pressed as soon as you do the kick 2. then AS SOON your kick hits the enemy, while the guard button is still pressed, you jump cancel on the enemy, still holding the guard button 3. You should notice that Dante would accelerate in the air, you can direct its motion with the analog stick right before you jump cancel/enemy step on the enemy 4. you can chain it like in the video by air hiking/double jumping followed by a REALLY QUICK royal guard (this would require you to be at a decent height to pull off)
