First of all thanks for your video tutorials. It's helping a lot, and I am also a contributor. I have a doubt. How to get model release for multiple unknown people in a photo. For ex a photo of farmers in a rice field. Do we need to get 6 model releases if there are 6 people in the image?
Then forget selling them dear.. Stock photography doesn't work that way...u need to hire models.. Create a scene.. Shoot.. Get model releases and then upload those along with the photos.. Who will buy random clicks? And u must let the models know that u will sell their image for money and get proper permission from them as signed release.. Or be prepared to go to court or worse jail 😁

Invalid kyu ye to tum ko hi pata hoga. Follow proper guide i have made and do typing in photoshop and not by hand writing. Attach visual reference of model with a passport size photo. And yes sab website pe wo wala shutterstock hi release accepted hota hain...

I had uploaded photos of Some random buildings... Not I have to fill property release form... But I clicked these photos while traveling some of buildings were empty and old... No photos is clicked from inside... What should I do???? I also have photos of Taj Mahal and obviously I can not take signature of Sahajan so I can not upload these photos??????

Hi wanted to know how do get the property release signed by the owner (as we have no such contacts) for a monument/ landmark especially if we are not in the same city now and had clicked the image while traveling.
As you have guessed its impossible to get such release and so impossible to sell that picture :)

This task is quite tricky. Does it require a person's photo or more than one visible person? What about the image of a festival/event where a group will visible? If I happen to take a picture of a person whom I do not know personally? Where to find him/her?
Stock photography is not selling random strangers photo.. Forget selling those pictures you are talking about.. Here we hire a model... sign a release and then PLAN a shoot.. And then upload it... Everything is enacted like a movie in a professional shoot... :)
The photos you are talking about are alright for Facebook and Instagram but not for commercial sale.. However u can still upload them as editorial.. No release needed for that.. But there's special way of writing editorial title.. See this video

No the liscenses are strictly restricted. One can never use editorial images for commercial use. This may lead to a heavy legal suite and the photographer may end up on streets trying to pay a life time compensation. :)
Yes editorial sale value is lower. However you might look into the updates TOS (terms of service) changes for further details.. Take your time to read them all..

i have uploaded 7 illustrations for the first time. it shows rejections but still to be reviewed in 21 days. do i have to make the changes and again upload it? for property release - each illustration do i have to fill the form separately or just one and where to submit. pl, guide again and again getting rejected the same illustration for other reasons.
Is its rejected just retry with better content taking note of the rejection reasons.

Hey Arindam, if I am clicking pictures of one model several times, I need to get only one model release signed, right?
Yeah For each shoot out, A different release. As the release has a mandatory column of shoot date. That date will change in the exif. However if you are uploading the same photo of a single shoot season, on different occassions then one single release will do.
So rule is date change release change 🙂

You cannot. You need to get model Release first before you click commercial photos for sale. You just cannot sell random photos. This is business not social media. Good luck. Be careful from now. Get model releases first by approaching your model. 😁

A model release is required for each pic which I have submitted reply received from shutterstock etc what it's mean
Means you have to follow the steps in this video to fill up the forms and get signed permission from the people whose faces are there in the photograph you uploaded. Good luck.

নমস্কার দাদা, আমি শাটারকক কন্ট্রিবিউটর এ নতুন জয়েন করেছি। আপনার ভিডিও থেকে অনেক কিছু শিখেছি। এখন পর্যন্ত 70টার মতন ছবি দিয়েছি। approve হয়েছে মাত্র 6 থেকে 7 টা। অনেক পছন্দের ছবি approve হয় নি, আবার অনেক সাধারণ ছবি approval পেয়েছে।
আপনার কাছে প্রশ্ন, যদি শাটারককে কোন ছবি approve হয়ে গিয়ে থাকে, তাহলে সেই ছবিগুলো কি অন্য কোন সাইটে বিক্রির জন্য পোস্ট করা যাবে?

One fresh release foe every single shoot. So if you shoot 20 photos in a series then same model Release can be used for that. If as soon as you shoot on another date that's a different event and will need a new release.

Sorry you cannot submit them without mod release as commercial image. Morover random steet photos has no commerical value. Stock photos represents something sellable product or business concept. U have to plan and shoot. Focus on some other category of photography. Street photography is editorial content and doesn't sell much.

If I'm taking photo of my own property for example my helmet, it definitely have the company's logo..so should I give my own name and signature in the property release form?
I think it should work. But property release is generally asked for familiar and recognizable places. Not literal meaning of property and stuffs of possession. If it has any logo it will be rejected unless you are the owner of the company and own the logo and u have to attach that ownership certificate as reference image. Think about it.. Why will other companies buy your image to give their ad, if you already showcase other brands?

U can paste in soft copy using photoshop or u can do it on the printed out form. Anyone will work.
