- Hi 🤗 So after 3 years I think it is a good time to do a VERY in depth review on my Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis in Monogram Canvas! I searched high & low for this bag back in 2018 and she was totally worth the hunt. In my opinion the Pochette Metis is a classic to the fashion house and really is a great over all handbag. I will be going into a lot of details as I want to be as thorough as possible in case you are considering adding this cutie to your collection. Hope you enjoy! xo.

I have the Pochette Metis Reverse Monogram one, I love it! Use it every day, I added a LV twilly to my short purse handle which gives it a nice touch, have even used it for parties & weddings as well :) It's a great bag! It's approx 11 inches long, by 8 inches high and width 3 inches. Great review by the way!

On my stiffer zippers, I wipe the teeth with waxed paper back and forth several times. That seems to help make my zippers run smoother.

Yes! You can also run a candle over it for same effect, I have a pack of birthday candles in white that I use

Hi Ive used an alcohol free wipe & also a lightly damp cloth. I just dont pass it over the areas w vachettas
Hi, i was so in love with this bag. But wondering which one to get the black emprient or the monogram with the current prices. I am worried about the water marks on vachetta. Do you have any marks on yours? Did you treat it.
Hi, I no longer have the monogram bc unfortunately it started having some glazing issues so I now own the reverse mon0gram & love that print. However, I never treated the vachetta on my monogram one, I wanted it to gain its patina & sort of tell a story with it 🙂 If you are worried about stains you can always tie a twilly on the handle & then you would just have the little tab from the opening which I have seen a ton of people spray with apple guard. If not I think the empreinte is another beautiful style to go for. However, the prices are a bit out of control for this one at the moment, personally I do think the canvas is kore care free than an all leather handbag so maybe you could go the reverse monogram route that way you dont have to worry about the stains...?

I have seen them more available in stores. I think since they are coming out with so many different prints the monogram is becoming less sought after… 🤷🏻♀️ Good luck on your search!

I have never seen this bag on the website available so give me your tips and tricks as to when you’re looking on the website to find it. I have the reverse monogram one it was not on the website I called customer services and they made one for me and it took about 30 days or so.
The website is really about trying your luck, for the most part I have seen it on later on at night & the beginning of the wk. However, I have seen it in stores available more often than when I was searching for it. The customer services is another great option! 🙂

Hi ! I strongly recommend you to take the bag ASAP! Mine started just like yours and I’m very very careful with my PM. I waited just like you and the glazing will detach ! Louis Vuitton want you to take the bags before 5 years or at least have prove of the issue starting before the 5 year… I called a year after I saw this tiny issue and 2 years later I called again and they reglazed it for me of course at no cost. If you haven’t I strongly advice you to call and let them know. Best wishes !!!
Hi, thank you so much for your rec! I actually stopped by the store to day & asked about this. They told me I could take it in but it can be up yo 8 months before I get it back! 😣 Still, I thi k I rather send it off & make sure it gets reglazed before it starts getting worse.
@@mrsleyva they told me that as well I sent it last month and is now on its way on the 18 😊 they told me they tell clients that’s just in case but they shouldn’t take more than a month 😊I’m glad you took it to get it fix 👌

Hi Fiona, just checked & mine is made in Italy. I guess it makes sense that those are more durable bc thankfully I havent had any issues with glazing or cracking on mine & I got it in 2018 ❤️

Hi! I am delighted with my Pochette metis in black leather. I really want to buy the reverse monogram, but with the current price (€2150) I don't know if it's worth it. Being canvas, is it worth paying so much for a bag that is not made of leather? They scare me
possible breaks. Another option is the croisette but not I like it alot.😢
Hi, I love the Pochette Metis in the leather options. But I have to say the canvas is pretty durable. I actually find it a bit more care free than the leather. My monogram one lasted me
4 years before I had to turn it in due to glazing but it was bc they made it during a year that they had already been recalled for. With all that being said, I agree! The price at the moment is crazy. But if you reallyyy love it, I think you would enjoy it. & the Reverse is such a fun print 💗 Hope this helps 🙂
@@mrsleyva Thank you!!. Every time I see the PM reverse monogram I love it! I'm just afraid of possible cracks. I have the Favorite MM in damier ebene, since 2019 and it doesn't have any cracks, but the Pochette Metis being more "folded" worried me. Let's see what I do😢😢😂

TBH Ive had mine for about 5 months I alctually had it switched from my monogram which was having glaxing issues, but I feel like it is going to be alot more durable than the all monogram, specially with the treated leather pieces 🤷🏼♀️
