Since I also like listening to Boom Bap and prefer instrumental music, that was the key point, which is why I like listening to FloatingPoints and subscribed to them. THANK YOU FOR YOUR MUSIC AND VIDEOS. Greetings from Berlin Germany ✌🏻
i know Im randomly asking but does any of you know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
yea quite possibly, the panning and mixing and mangling of the percussion is masterful, plus that filtered vocal pad section towards the end is genius how its a different rhythm in each ear but combines into the same in each ear towards the end. mixing of the whole track id say is perfect. the fact this guy can do this style of music this good but also makes the best of best bedroom-style progressive house tracks, and also to live sounding jazz tinged pieces blows me away..
He's done it again with a beautiful, atmospheric broken, melodic techno gem. My favourite recent tune from Floating Points and that is saying something :) BIG up for the video as well!
if you are reading this i love and loved this for about two years, i had been through some really tough times and scary places and i loved listening to this, gave me strengh, now that i don't need that strengh anymore i just envy you so much, i wish i couldve compose and direct this, it is that good
Just go for it mate. Get Ableton. Some of the best music you will make will be when your not technically there when you first start. Search rare groove samples from the 70s on UA-cam and chop your drums from there. Sample soundtracks from films etc. Make loops 8-16 bar loops and save them and move onto another. Come back to them later when you have learned more and you will realise the ideas you came up with then are better than the ideas you come up with now. But you will now be able to turn the loops into an arrangement
Easily the best electronic track of the year for me. Only negative was that it was too short but just found that the version on soundcloud is just shy of 6 minutes.. lovely stuff! Love the restraint shown as this just builds and builds. Very much an Aphex Twin vibe to the drum work, which is obviously the highest compliment you can give.. doubt it would ever happen but would love to hear a collab between the pair of them. If the whole album is of the same quality as this and LesAlpx it's easily going to be the best release of the year. Can't wait!
Sorry. Old man coming through. Out of the loop as one might say. Sounds like Aphex Twin, Plaid and all the other older IDM guys have a worthy torchbearer here. Absolutely love this track. It's familiar and new at the same time. VERY nice.
Absolutly stunnig, reminds me a little Richard Devine - Takara, in term of sound design and for the video even if this video is ways better than Richard's one.
Everytime I watch this, the visuals always impress me. And combined with the track? Simply sublime.
add shrooms
Whut visuals
No thing
Words cannot verify the time and effort that has gone into this video. Very, very well done.
WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE
THE TWINKLE IN YOUR EYES
Never search for a vinyl so fast in my life!

Favourite electronic release this year, hands down. Nothing can top this

The music is stunning, but I must also add that the visuals are absolutely fucking phenomenal. Mesmerizing. Really great watch.
Yeh! I expect you'd like to know about FOLIAGE?
i know Im randomly asking but does any of you know of a way to get back into an instagram account??

@Phoenix Fox Instablaster :)
Check the making off video for this, tremendo!
wait i thought we were all here for the video
This is exactly what I have wanted from a music video for some time now, thank you. The music sounds amazing
This is another type of music, in it's own genre. Through dolby atoms soundbar its like you're inside the music itself.
Totally!
stop-motion/ time lapse panning shots look amazing.
That's such a clever way to make visuals.
Such a dope song and video. They work so well together. Pumped for the full album release.
nuts, this is some of the best floaty points to date
Aesthetic ending of another summer decade
Brilliant, delightful and lovely !
You guys are awesome, thanks for existing, greetings from Brazil.

A FLASHBACK 2 HER 1st EVER VIDEO ie; human behaviour WISHINGWAYBACKWHEN!!!
hehehehehe ! (* _ *)
absolutely incredible visual and music
The mix/panning/placement of the percussion and textures is next level for FP but sounds a whole lot like AFX
for sure
fishflow200 I don't even know what that is
@fishflow200 if you think there is no comparison to be made with the Collapse EP (particularly "abundance") then you must be crazy.
true, but not a bad thing
@@rossmillington8700 definitely a good thing lol
IDM will always be next level. This track is fantastic.
Yessss, how did you find it?
Nobody that makes 'IDM' even says IDM. You know that, right?
I watched and listened to this in a single sitting , without even blinking
Magnificent wonderful beautiful track, lovely vid as well, thanks for sharing this gem my friend 🎶
it was one of the most beautiful things that ive ever seen
Maybe the most finely produced track by FP, not to mention such a beautiful clip.

Love this entire album. It goes pretty much nonstop from start to finish
Great how he got inspired by the "18 with my family" and "end E2" tracks by Aphex twin simultaneously
Great. Would love a collab with Forest Swords
On point
So Sword Points or ..... Floating Forests. Imagine that.
The master.
Awesome visuals and sounds💫
That video is one of Man's greatest achievements.
He's done it again with a beautiful, atmospheric broken, melodic techno gem. My favourite recent tune from Floating Points and that is saying something :) BIG up for the video as well!
This is definitely not melodic techno. But is definitely beautiful 😁
Visual bacana, música única
This particular work from Floating reminds me "Hi this is Flume"

The best that has been done by humanity and nature
This is a great amuse-bouche, but it feels like just a piece of the puzzle. I can't wait to hear it wrapped up in the context of the new album.
Yeah, I think you're spot-on. A scene out of context. Looking forward to the album.
A masterpiece.

The imagery in the video perfectly expresses songs…I feel like I’m watching a poem
This is some class A trip music
Sound's cool
