I love animations because they often show the skills of devoted artists through proper visual representation but also they express many deep thoughts, feelings and ideas of great writers through the plot and development. Your explanation gives more meaning to a lot of important points made in this animation. I appreciate this animation for many reasons. The focus on individuality for the characters and for the sects really gives a representation of what is happening. Everyone wants something, they have their goals, their ideals, and their own personalities, which makes the story rich. Another thing I want to point out is that I feel the deeper sense of character motivation as opposed to simply 'good versus bad'. Even the 'bad' aren't just being bad to be bad. And the bad aren't just sitting in a castle waiting for the plot to come together. They are active in the world and shaping the things around them to influence what they can.

I like this series but I can't stand the male lead alot in this. He is so busy chasing a one sided love and recognition from what he subconsciously perceives as better than himself, that fails to recognize situations and people for whom they actually are. Then want to reflect and cry for his actions and whom was truly there for him. He also doesn't know how to read the room and is already developing an ego just because of the little strength he has acquired forgetting it can be taken away at any time.

大的剧情很不错，但是故事对方寒的一些刻画描述，有点过于小气，睚眦必报了。就像那个亲王说的，城府不够，这样的角色早期暴露出这样的性格短板，居然能够一路修成，也真的是命好。
受完型之后的方寒，突然又会盘算避人忌讳，这就很费解这个人设了。感觉早期方寒这种细节塑造很多矛盾之处，整体给人的感觉，这个人设性格有点low，容易膨胀骄傲，不够韬光养晦。
永生之門的器靈,天生的主角
他一直都是这性格，后期吃人流开始的时候更加。十几年前看小说我就看得一直无语
這很正常他從小沒收到教育又處處受到壓迫在這種環境長大你很難要求他善良
他这人设倒是挺符合他的出身的，身为家奴，没读过什么书,也缺少社会阅历，天天被欺负，没有城府。就是主角加持，换做普通人早投胎八百次了
