This tutorial gives on overview of the extension Automation Blocks for Adobe After Effects. In a nutshell, Automation Blocks is two different things at once: A comprehensive collection of ready to use tools for After Effects, and a system that enables you to write your own scripts and automations, without writing any programming code. Instead, you combine the blocks described here, which feels more like playing with Lego bricks (and is much easier) than normal programming.

Sorry guys. I installed the plugin using the ZXP installer in after effects, but when I tried to load the plugin in windows 10, After Effects feezes for some seconds, and the Automation Blocks window didn't appear. What Could be happening?
Some machines have problems with Adobe's ZXP installation mechanism. This solution will solve your issue: aescripts.com/knowledgebase/index/view/faq/zxp-cep-extension-won-t-open/
Does the code blocks spit out the actual script?
You can export the block script as a jsx file. However, those jsx files will only run on machines, where the Automation Blocks extension is installed and properly licensed. So yes, you can access and even modify the script code, but it will still require Automation Blocks installed to be executed.

@@jirehla-ab1671 you can export them as jsx scripts. But the scripts will only execute properly on machines where Automation Blocks is installed.
