Cardboard corrugated roll,
2 plastic plates (use plant pot tray),
2 slow rpm dc motors,
2 9v battery,
GI wire mesh or any suitable material (for mounting the earth model)
Black chart paper (2),
Marbles (for lazy susan)
scissors,
hot glue,
electrical bulb or torch,

Yes you can. The motor will have less power. But, it will work.
Very interesting.. It's an eye opener.... about how Earth 's gravity holds the moon (sattelite) ....and at the same time, I think that the moon should revolve round the earth too...

Yes, it will work i guess. Use 2 or 3 paper plates at the top and 2-3 at the bottom. Glue 2-3 paper plates together to make it strong.

Can you please show me how you fix the earth and how to give connection to rotate itself ,and what materials tou used for that
hey umm I'm gonna make this in my school for science exhibition but i have a confusion this video's title is earth's revolution and rotation but the earth revolves in orbit so do i have to make the orbit because you haven't and without orbit the earth is not supposed to revolve
Orbits are imaginary lines. No need to show them.

I have used the cardboard like a chain to turn the plates. This is the easiest way to achieve this. Else use a thick chart paper and stick wooden sticks (match sticks may work) to make a chain like arrangement. Do you get what i mean?

You need a chain like arrangement to rotate the model. Unfortunately, corrugated paper is the easiest option. You can use a metal chain assembly which will make the materials even expensive.

You need a lightweight and a strong material to support the dc motor. You can also use a strong cardboard.

I got it from a pet shop that sells pet birds. They use this mesh to make bird cages. I bought a scrap piece of mesh for 15 rupees.

See you can also buy low speed dc motors in store that's the way you can lower it speed.

This is why we see the same side of the moon always. I have made the model in the same way. The earth and moon in the model has a synchronous rotation.
Do we need power supply?
Yes, for the sun. If you do not have electric supply, use coin led lights with 9V battery.

Hello I have a question, the motor the earth is on is spinning too fast what did u wrap around it to slow it down? And for the motor on the bottom it won’t spin the plate at all so how can I fix this
You should use a slow rpm dc motor. It is a cardboard (corrugated paper roll). You should fix the motor and the plate properly.

You can use multiple layers of cardboard instead of the mesh. The material you use should be light in weight and strong too. Shaft is the cylindrical component that rotates. It comes along with the dc motor. You can get this dc motor online or in your local electrical shops. All the best.

rpm is around 90. But, rpm will be low if the battery power is less.

2 plastic plates - 40rupees,
Two 12v dc motor - 350 rupees,
Thermocol ball - you can make one,
Sun - Use a 30 rupee yellow led light with 9V battery, (I have used a glass bowl, it may break),
Marbles - 50 rupees,
Metal wireframe - 15 rupees

What is the rpm of the two motors? 30rpm is displayed on the surface of one of the motor
rpm will be around 20 to 30 approx. It depends on the input voltage too. Both are the same dc motors.
