No 5:33 . Just no. They designed the offense around that offensive line that was going from being a dominant force in one game, to being god dang awful in the very next game. They’d go from road grading in the run game, to not even being able to keep multiple guys out of the back field at the snap in the very next game. Go from good pass protection in one game, to the tackles just literally had no idea who they were supposed to block, and ended up letting multiple guys run untouched by them, at the QBs earhole
As a very dedicated Texas Longhorns fan, it will be interesting to see if Coach Sarkisian recruits Kendrick Law from the transfer portal. Law was recruited by Coach Sarkisian out of high school and late in Law's recruitment, it seemed Texas was a possibility. Nonetheless, like every other program's fan base, I am very much hoping for the possibility that Ryan Williams considers entering the transfer portal. "Hook Em"

It's not a coaching problem when you have a 1 read QB who can't disect defenses. We saw what happened when they asked Jalen to throw 45 times a game. Turnovers, sacks, and incompletions. Jalen doesn't have the skillet to spread the ball around.

@a.howell78 I'm not advocating for Milroe. Quite the opposite. But maybe the team saw Milroe as the alpha. He's not a great thrower but is a great leader. I'm sure they took these things into consideration. As far as the defense, I thought they improved a lot from early in the season. Sure, they had a rough night in Norman, but they also ranked 2nd in the nation in turnovers, and they're a young group. The offense rarely capitalized on turnovers, and the defense was on the field far too long. In my opinion, it was a pretty good year for a 1st year coaching staff. I criticized them as much as anyone, but looking at the whole body of work, I think they did pretty well. I believe once DeBoer can fully implement his offense, with either Simpson or Russell, or whoever wins the job, this team will be a perennial championship contender. So I'll give them some grace in year one.

He is a super talent and will be a great addition to anyone's roster. Idum will go to where he will be a featured for targets. You're exactly right and I can relate. I used to follow recruiting and invested alot of time to it. Nil and the portal has changed my interest in it because now half the guys don't make it here till their junior year it seems

You are correct. Jalen has trouble reading the defense. Most of our plays are RPO’s and Jalen just decides to keep the ball instead of reading the defense and executing his options.

As a very dedicated Texas Longhorns fan, it will be interesting to see if Coach Sarkisian recruits Kendrick Law from the transfer portal. Law was recruited by Coach Sarkisian out of high school and late in Law's recruitment, it seemed Texas was a possibility. Nonetheless, like every other program's fan base, I am very much hoping for the possibility that Ryan Williams considers entering the transfer portal.

The three WRs who have entered the portal caught a combined 2 TDs and had 299 receiving yards. There is a lot of blame to pass around…them, QB, O system, etc. Thank you for your efforts and good luck in your future endeavors.

It's not a coaching problem when you have a 1 read QB who can't disect defenses. We saw what happened when they asked Jalen to throw 45 times a game. Turnovers, sacks, and incompletions. Jalen doesn't have the skillet to spread the ball around.

@a.howell78 I'm not advocating for Milroe. Quite the opposite. But maybe the team saw Milroe as the alpha. He's not a great thrower but is a great leader. I'm sure they took these things into consideration. As far as the defense, I thought they improved a lot from early in the season. Sure, they had a rough night in Norman, but they also ranked 2nd in the nation in turnovers, and they're a young group. The offense rarely capitalized on turnovers, and the defense was on the field far too long. In my opinion, it was a pretty good year for a 1st year coaching staff. I criticized them as much as anyone, but looking at the whole body of work, I think they did pretty well. I believe once DeBoer can fully implement his offense, with either Simpson or Russell, or whoever wins the job, this team will be a perennial championship contender. So I'll give them some grace in year one.

He is a super talent and will be a great addition to anyone's roster. Idum will go to where he will be a featured for targets. Milroe's inconsistency and run game took away targets from the receivers. The days of Harris working through discontent are over. In today's environment he would never have stayed at Alabama. Saban left the cane because kids were no longer buying into his development as a football player, as a student, and as a person. Let's face it college football is a professional sport now and the only loyalty is to the best NIL money that players can get. Not sure if this is right or wrong, but it is certainly different!

You're exactly right and I can relate. I used to follow recruiting and invested alot of time to it. Nil and the portal has changed my interest in it because now half the guys don't make it here till their junior year it seems

Williams is his only target and to say he had a stocked receiver room is an understatement. He's a running back who's killing the offensive line at times because he's holding the ball to long !

bond shouldn't have left. could have used him this year as another target to throw to. you can't win having only 1 good receiver. the other guys need to step up. number 5 seemed to get better as the season went along. he was getting better with each game. him and number 2 were all we had for receivers and offense. the rb's ran good sometimes but not all the time. most of the running was done by milroe. we gotta have more offensive weapons and not put it all on the qb. we need play makers.

You are correct. Jalen has trouble reading the defense. Most of our plays are RPO’s and Jalen just decides to keep the ball instead of reading the defense and executing his options.
