Somewhat wild to think that a Studio that brought us Shovelware like this is also responsible for the genuinely really solid Obscure games.

Review was short but it was still entertaining nonetheless. This game makes M&Ms Kart Racer look like a party in comparison... wait. M&Ms had a Beach Party game on the Wii as well... Oh dear, I just gave you an idea.
I love the choice of Crash music you used when talking about the minigames.
No need to worry about the length of the video, your videos are always great regardless of how long they are, this one is no exception

I remember playing this game once or twice and then seeing it from time to time. It was weird. Never played much and even then I knew how shit it was. But has also lingered in the back of my mind for ages. Good to see that I wasn't missing out on much nostalgia.
This game kind of reminded me of Donkey Kong Barrel Blast, another racing game that utilizes on-rails racing on the Wii. I've only rented it, but the game was...certainly an experience.
Yeah, I think that game had more going on than this one from multiple angles, even if the controls are a bit weird and would have been more suited for the bongo drum controllers of the GameCube (which it actually was intended for before getting ported to the Wii) rather than just shaking the controllers to go left or right. Also the last time we'd see many DK characters outside of Smash appearances, so that's a thing.

You know what, side note, I have never understood the concept behind screen-obscuring power-ups; like, I can still see just fine, this is basically just a "Middle_Finger.PNG" plastered on the screen. Now, if these kinds of obstacles actually had a tangible effect, like, say, briefly disorienting your driving (maybe swerving or being more slippery) and slowing you down, for a brief couple seconds, maybe I can understand them, but as is...what the hell's a Blooper going to do for me in 7th Place? I've already lost, the game's just telling everyone how much of a sore loser I am, basically...what a waste of an item slot... >.>

Huh, so that genie. Why does he look very similar to the 2019 reboot Aladdin genie. Done by Will smith? It’s uhh, hard not to unnoticed.
Good video as always. Though games like this make me so confused on who is marketed towards. Kids who found it in the bargain bin? A crappy Christmas present? One of life’s never ending mysteries.

Having a racing where you ride magic carpets only to have the whole thing on rails is really stupid, unless to some extent it's an FMV game from the early 90s. But the Wii didn't exist or was even thought of in the 90s, so there's no excuse!
Gotta love how even UA-cam's AI thinks that Alladain't here is actually gameplay footage of Disney's Aladdin.
Well he does use the Never Had A Friend Like Me remix as heard in the Snes Aladdin when you go into the Genie Lamp level.
I did try to set it to Aladdin Magic Racer, but UA-cam was basically just like, "What on earth are you talking about?". XD

BenjaMage! You need to give Chocobo racing GP season 2 a try! They fixed a lot of problems that you mentioned in your video about it! Also, Great video on this... obscure, sonic riders, aladdin racing game!
Does it still cost an arm and a leg to get Cloud and Level 60? Then nope.
He did. He pinned a comment update on the OG video for ChocoboGP and explained that while they did fix many issues with the battle pass, gameplay wise it's still a slough, the XP gain is still pretty shitty, and it still tries to strong-arm you into paying to get the good stuff quick(albeit more gently it seems).
And in said comment, he expressed disinterest and said he would not go back to the game again.

@@BenjaMage Not too sure as I rarely go online. But I was pleasantly surprised the bot AI you play with does actually level up which makes them a fair bit better in story mode than i was expecting them to be.
With Aladdin in the title, I think you would’ve been better off playing games on the Aladdin Deck Enhancer

If you speak a little bit french I suggest you to listen for french podcast gamerside episode 53. You can listen to 3 french Hydravision ex-devs talking about the Alone in The Dark PS2 version they made and that is very funny... also very sad.
Hey no need to sweat it man, overall this is a pretty interesting review I must say, and honestly, I’ll be real, if I DID get this game, I would probably be just as bored as you would be, and might even just fall asleep right away on the first track. So overall a great video ^^

I actually did think this had a connection to the Disney movie (Partially because the preview for this video had clips from the movie)
You know, with all the mentions of some games being the “worst you’ve ever played”, it makes me wonder if you’d ever do a Top 10 Worst/Least Favorite Games list. Though I imagine you’d want to save a list like that for a special occasion.
Hey Benjamin, if you ever do an obscure kart racers 4, can you look at Cars 2 the game and Cars 3: Driven to Win? Cars 2 is on Steam and Cars 3: Driven to win is on PS4.

You should really play the Disney's Aladdin games (wheter Genesis or Capcom) as they're quite good or you could try Nasira's Revenge for the PS1 and PC maybe as part of your Overlooked 3D Platformers sequel. :)

Given I enjoyed my time with Skylar & Plux on my revisiting of it, definitely going with that.

Hey don't worry about the length bro, it's fine don't worry about it, it's the games fault for being as bad as it was, but ya it looks boring and......it's basically and autoscroller?......I NEVER heard of a racing game doing that EVER, unless we're talking about running games like Temple Run, Sonic Run, etc. Though I'll be honest, it DOSE seem like a cool racing concept if it were tweaked and adjusted A LOT to make it a fun game, but I don't think ANYONE should try it unless they are SURE they can pull off doing it right....who knows!
Got a good laugh out of what happens if you don't do the shake wii remote in certain events thing also.

Yet another shovelware Wii game that practically says "I'm a garbage Wii game" on the box. If it weren't for Billy the Wizard Rocket Broomstick Racing, this would probably be the worst racing game you've played, huh. Though speaking of Billy the Wizard, I actually saw a copy of it in a local retro games store. Not long after your video was made no less. Did I buy it? Hell no, but I still found it funny that it was there.

This is a bootleg Aladdin game, but it uses the same gameplay elements of Donkey Kong Barrel Blast.

Real late to the party, but if you're ever curious, there are people out there that actually have used the balance board for this game. It sure was a trip to watch.
