Just ordered my baby @3:30am. I've been push graving for a year and started having recurring dreams where I had a hand piece and my work improved greatly. I have a few grand riding on this dream and I'm about to make it happen. Thank you for all these videos, I wish there was a third season!
You all prolly dont care but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
This video shows the quick setup of the classic GraverSmith®: ua-cam.com/video/9eE7Xywb8ts/v-deo.html Here is the quick setup for the new version: ua-cam.com/video/X4OY92p19xc/v-deo.html If these videos don't address your issue, we highly recommend calling Greg - our tech support guru. 1-800-835-3519 or 620-343-1084 anytime Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM CST/CDT. He can often diagnose the problem over the phone!
I would love to see a video on the correct way to connect to your Air compressor and if you need a regulator between the Air Compressor and the unit and if so what would you advise as there is little information on this.
Thanks for the suggestion. Keep an eye out, we might do a video over this topic. GRS Engraving Systems do not require a regulator between the air compressor and the system, if you are using a typical shop air compressor like the two we sell. www.grs.com/?post_type=product&s=air+compressor For just a basic understanding of how to connect your GRS System to an air compressor we suggest the following video for how to set-up a California Air Compressor: ua-cam.com/video/8687LbYT1Ls/v-deo.html For additional information feel free to visit us online at: www.grs.com/ or give us a call: 800-835-3519 or 620-343-1084 to speak with a sales associate who can answer your questions in more detail. Thanks for the question and suggestion! Best wishes on your next project!
I'm having an issue, I have a new GraverMax G8. It has been relatively ok however at around 19 PSI the piece vibrates without enough pressure, I go up slightly and I get a very weak vibration that isnt giving enough push then uo a slight but more it goes too high and I get the vibrating foot pedal sound again.
Hello ! I like the Video & want to know difference from GRS 004-965 Gravermach AT Vs Graver MAX G8 which is the latest & much better to buy ,I am getting ready for it)). Appreciate very much for little bit of explanation between the two). Thank you!
The primary difference between the GraverMach® AT and the GraverMax® G8 is whether you want to be able to actuate the handpiece with your hand, or with your foot only. The G8 only has foot control, and the AT offers the ability to start the pnuematic action with your hand or the foot control.
why is it so quiet? is it hooked up to compressor? Also do you have a video like this on how to operate the older G8 version that doesn't have the air tact feature?
This video was shot in our Training Center. The GraverMach AT shown is hooked up to compressed air that is being run from a different area of the building. For initial setup of the GraverMax G8, please visit this link: ua-cam.com/video/Gp815gV7gH0/v-deo.html . The GraverMax G8 has all the same functionality of the AT, with the exception of Airtact capability. Handpiece tuning will remain the same as shown in this video, but you will use the foot pedal to actuate the handpiece.
The GraverMach® AT requires an oil-free compressed air supply with a minimum flow capacity of 1.4 CFM [ft³/min] or 40 LPM [L/min]. GRS recommends the air pressure to be 45-60 psi (3-4 bar) before it enters the GraverMach®.
Hi Molly I just bought gravermax G8 in Australia but they don't have hand pieces in stock so I have to for the stock come. So In the mean time can I use the different hand pieces which I bought on ebay? Does it work the same 901 or the magnum hand pieces from GRS? Thanks Minh
nice video, now we know what is at the end of the dentist's drill :-), but seriously what tools go onto the handpieces, and how to use it, ought to do a 'demo' video of this tool. and you say "handpiece" but what do you mean, a 'dremmel tool' , drill, grinder, motor? for those new to this channel, what industry are these tools for, just jewelery, or can this apply to all sorts of model building, micro machining, etc.
Hi, Do u own GRS company? 🤔 I'm pretty much just Startin out into the trade. Well like two years in but always admire the GRS products! So innovative and well made!
HI , Is this machine used just for jewelry making or also for engraving fine line details images on materials like metals , plexiiglass , by connecting engraving machine tools with it ? Thank you
How much is the price allowed. What stuff is attached with the rig I want the full price. Is it possible to send a shipment to Egypt if you want to buy this device ?? I hope you quick reply
Great question. No, the 850 handpiece does not work with the foot control as is. If you would like to use the foot control as a throttle with the Ultra 850 look into the Ultra 850 with System 3 Foot Control (item #004-914). This can be run independently from the GraverMach AT or run through it. www.grs.com/product/004-914-ultra-850-rotary-system-with-system-3-foot-control/ If you have any other questions please feel free to give us a call and speak with one of our friendly sales representatives. Call: 800-835-3519 or 620-343-1084 Thanks and best wishes for your next project!

If you are purchasing in the US, you can see the current cost of Air Systems on our product page: grs.com/product-category/products/air-systems-handpieces/air-systems/ If you would like to know the cost of an entire setup, we have a "Build My Bench" tool that can help you out: grs.com/build-my-bench/
You can find quality used GRS Tools online, but do some research on the seller and the product that is being offered. There are a lot of cheaply made "knock-offs" out there. If the machine you have found is being listed as "New", at that price it is definitely not an authentic GRS product. Counterfeit products may be dangerous to operate. Cheap components and materials may present work hazards including exposure to unsafe chemicals and risk of fire. Additionally, a cheaply made tool is likely to break down faster, and will cost you more money in the long run.

The air system can be a bit intimidating with all the knobs on the front of the box. The most important adjustment is to tune your handpiece, shown at the 1:50 minute mark of this video. Once you do that, the strokes per minute is personal preference - Molly prefers the 3300 spm (33 on the dial) for general use. As for air compressors, we do sell compressors with the necessary attachment kits and fittings at grs.com. If you choose to purchase a compressor from somewhere else, we recommend oil-free air compressors for use with our air systems.

Hi Molly
I would love to see a video on the gravermax G8 Basics. And how to use the hand pieces.
Thank you so much for this video. Also, thanks for being not so deathly serious and a little goofy. Very good content.
You are very welcome! Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@Grstools does the grs have a integrated air supply or does it need a separate air supplyer?
