I have seen countless Turks in the historical dramas and modern ones.
I have seen Turks in Istanbul from all over their country. They look like white people in certain areas.
Their looks and complexions vary massively; from what you said, to looking like they Indian or Pakistani to completely gorah looks.
Consider the history of their people and where they all migrated from and obviously The mongols left their genes all across that part of the world and Asia.
