But, as being from the south...small town, some of my best friends were gender nonconforming, as well as, gay (always wanted out of the small town and was always open minded)I have witnessed friends harrassed...scared...embarrassed..and still came out ok. With there heads held high...my best friend came out to me once we left high school...had a girl friend...and I said...bro I already knew...after crying and hugging, he has been proud and openly gay. But, as being from the south...small town, some of my best friends were gender nonconforming, as well as, gay (always wanted out of the small town and was always open minded)I have witnessed friends harrassed...scared...embarrassed..and still came out ok. With there heads held high...my best friend came out to me once we left high school...had a girl friend...and I said...bro I already knew...after crying and hugging, he has been proud and openly gay.
