- Hey, I watched Locke and Key season 2 and I really loved it! I was especially so interested in the story of Gabe and Kinsey. The had an amazing chemistry and I loved the tension and conflict so much. Althought I’d love to see the heroine join the villain for once, the story played out nicely and I’m looking forward to Kinsey and Scotts relationship! I don’t want to portray this relationship as healthy, I hope the point comes across in this edit.

Same! I was so glad that she chose Gabe only for me to find out that he was Dodge. There were obvious signs pointing to Gabe being Dodge throughout the season, but I guess I was blinded by how much I liked him haha.

I was so glad that was the plot twist. It was a very good cliffhanger. I liked his character before and after the twist. I’m pretty sure Gabe will return as a character and not only just as a memory with Kens.

It’s so obvious that he fell hard for Kinsey. I mean just look how soft and gentle he becomes around her, while talking to her. Completely shows how he is so protective of her. Gave and Kinsey have my whole heart they are literally perfect🔥
He didn't fell for her he wanted to control her and wanted to make her one of them there was no love between them nor did real Kinsey liked or loved him she took out her fear

A part of Dodge fell for Kinsey, yes. But it's still Dodge, no matter what appearance they choose, Lucas, Gabe or anything else, at the end of the day Dodge is still Dodge. If Gabe liked Kinsey, then Dodge liked her, they are one person.
I feel like it was the human part of Lucas that fell for Kinsey. The demons are incapable of loving.

For a second you could really feel Gabe doubting about what he was doing. He really loved her and that's kinda why I think he changed into Dodge, if that makes sense haha. They did great this season!

Honestly I agree with Kinsey's statement that Gabe/Dodge just wanted to control her, keep her like an object. If he truly loved her he wouldnt have asked her to turn into a demon essentially locking her away and becoming someone completely different with a Kinsey face. He would have asked her to join him as she is, that would have proved he really loved her as a person and not as some kind of prize or conquest.

guys, this relationship is so toxic, gabe manipulated her, used her for his own good, threatened her and her loved ones, killed inncocent people and tried to make her surrender...how is this love? im literally so happy kind didnt end up being with a real monster, i just dont understand why everyone is so obsessed with harmful and toxic relationships like this

Guys this wasn't Gabe or Dodge. Actually this is a demon and doesn't have a gender. I'm obsessed with this demon's love to Kinsey. It touched my heart somehow. And Gabe's look is my fav for sure
Yas because some people are confused and still not getting it that it's a demon that came from the piece of iron in the cave. They thought that the dodge which is the female image they are seeing was lesbian or bisexual and the real one when in fact its just a made up identity and image just like gabe because it's a demon so no one really knows what the demon really looks like and its gender/sex at all but it surely fell inlove with kinsey so possibly it's a "he"

@thesilent4309 it could be a she. That woman seems to be the demons favorite form. She becomes Lucas whom she is prossessing to mess with and control Ellie. The demon becomes Gabe to get close to Kinsie. But ends up wanting her for more than just the keys. If the demon was a male. It wouldn't go back and forth from Gabe to woman. The demon always goes from Lucas to the female version of Lucas. Unless it's with Kinsey.

It still doesn't make completely sense though, when Gabe turned into "Dodge form" he would have killed Kinsey if it wasn't for Tyler. But before this, in literally every episode he would get defensive and protective over her, like what happened 👁️👄👁️

The funny thing is that I wasn't sure about them in season 1. I wanted to see where the Scot relationship was going. I felt a lil jilted from the sudden switch to Gabe cause it was moving kinda fast. BUT their chemistry was so off the charts this season that it's hard not to ship it or hope that he gets redeemed in some way. The way he looked at her, held her, talked about her made him feel so sincere like he was fighting his feelings for her and failed before he could try. At this point, Scot feels like a crush but Gabe felt like love even tho it was hella toxic. Kinsey does deserve a healthy relationship tho

I think what hurt me the most is the fact that as soon as she found out he was Dodge she completely lost the love she had for him, which is strange because that doesn’t even happen if you’ve ever gone through a breakup. I feel like she didn’t love him as much as she said she will or else she would have been conflicted about joining him or not. And she would not have gone back to Scot that fast. I fell so heartbroken that Gabe (Griffin Gluck) is not coming back for Season 3. I loved him as Dodge, i will forever be attracted to a hot villain just like Joe in You.

I prefer Scot then Gabe. Before it was revealed he was Dodge, I like him, but didn't think he was right for Kinsey. Especially since she took out her fear and was becoming reckless, it felt like Gabe fed into her recklessness, while Scot tried to help her from getting to reckless. Like when he tried to stop her from going to far with Edan. I think Scot is great for Kinsey, as he's always there for her, and is always understanding.

I think her pride or something was hurt. If she's capable of love. Maybe she capable of other emotions. Once Dodge seen that there was no getting through to Kensie and that Kensie wouldn't stop trying to kill her. She went to kill her as to get rid of the attraction. Also it may have been like if I can't have you no one can kinda thing. Dodge had a obsessive love for Kensie.

I think it’s a mix of their great dramatic tension after the whole reveal and the protectiveness/“love” from Gabe’s side that ppl read as romantic chemistry. Cause you’re right, Kinsey totally had her heart going back to Scot when they were dating. I love the ship though bc of how unique and bizarre it is, even if it’s toxic as hell and shouldn’t be endgame😂 Scots a great guy, but there’s no real drama or intrigue to their dynamic, it’s kinda boring imo.

I honestly didn't know why many of them ship Gabe and Kinsey together. Cuz If u look at the circumstance when she fell for Gabe the answer is clear. It was all because she took out the fear from her and that's not the real Kinsey. Her original character was reserved, afraid and over thinking type for that Scott is compatible as he always give her the space she wanted for herself.
