The texts showed that Karen Read is a classic Bunny Boiler. JOK had, according to his children, told her repeatedly to leave his home because the relationship had “run its course” and was “toxic.” Children said that she refused to leave and would chase after JOK, screaming at him. She wasn’t invited to the night out, his friends can’t stand to be around her, so she lied, saying she was going out drinking when she appeared at the bar in Canton. She didn’t want JOK to go to the Alberts because she didn’t feel welcome, but he went anyway. She flew into a rage and backed her car into him, leaving him to die in the cold.
She was with him when he died after lying, saying that she left him in the Waterfall Bar. She only admitted to having brought him to the Alberts after she knew she had been seen. Read claimed that she hit him to numerous people, even saying to her own father that she definitely “struck something.”
Read only invented the conspiracy story after she bought Alan Jackson for $1,000,000.
Read is a liar. She lied about the state of her relationship with John, she lied about events in Aruba, she lied about having driven him to the Alberts, she lied about how many drinks she had drank and she lied about going home to Mansfield.
Read was a cheat. She tried to start something with her bf colleague, even turning up at his apartment uninvited. He didn’t sleep with her, he dodged a bullet.
Read started a relationship with a man who had two children when she knew that she didn’t like or want children herself. The children testified that Read either screamed at them or gave them the silent treatment when she was displeased with them. She insisted that they were put in a hotel room in Atuba, alone and on the other side of the hotel. She didn’t “bring in the New Year with “Johns children,” she was blind drunk, obnoxious and embarrassing, screaming obscenities at one of Johns long-time friends little sister.
Frankly, Read is a mess. She’s getting on for 50 yrs old and can’t keep a relationship going. I’d love to hear from her ex’es.
Read is guilty. She’s an alcoholic with rage issues who hounded John because he wanted to break up with her. She felt that he didn’t support her when she was a NFI at the Alberts. No sh;t. Bunny Boiler.

At least I can understand Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction... sort of. The thing about Karen Read is that she's a Bunny Boiler with a net worth in excess of $2 million. I don't know why she was dating O'Keefe to begin with, but I assume that at 40-plus she already burned every upwardly-mobile dude she'd come in contact with.

These televised trials have completely replaced soap operas for daytime viewing. Soap operas were once an escape for housewives, retirees, the home bound, etc., to give the viewers a bit of slightly edgy entertainment in the middle of rather routine, likely somewhat boring, “day in their lives.”
As with most things in society, it seems people require more and more to feel anything- entertained, emotionally challenged or satisfied, etc. It’s like all addictions. People need more of it to feel satisfied. And you’re so right, Roberta, the tragic death of John O’Keefe is really not the focus of the case! It’s the theatrics, combined with truly evil people who are playing the roles of the “ victim” and “defense attorneys.” It’s been crafted to ensure they’re getting the attention and notoriety. Psychopaths and sociopaths don’t care HOW they get attention; they just need attention to exist! And we’re all tuning in to watch it!😂

I believe she's guilty whether she panicked after hitting him intentionally in a borderline blackout drunken rage or not. The sheer lack of emotion is a problem. I am assuming the jurors are noticing that in court. A lot of issues with the investigation. It's so sad considering he was a fellow PO 😔
I just hope his family receives a guilty verdict after what they've endured.

I have this unthinkable picture of Karen the first time she goes back to 34 Fairview. She would have to remove the snow off John to check his condition and then I assume she put that snow back so as not to look suspicious when he is found! 😢 Also explains why she ran straight there removing snow and pressing herself to John. She had to be the first person because the snow was disturbed.

But they've REALLY ramped up speaking openly and releasing carefree photos of her out and about.

My narcissistic spouse had two modes (my terms): first, his “ordinary, everyday” misconduct (the real word starts with an ‘a’). The second mode I experienced 6-7 times in a three decade relationship. If there were certain triggers, such as someone of importance had wounded his ego, once he entered our home he could go from 0 to 100 instantaneously. That is when the most serious physical “misconduct” would occur, when I believed each time that my time on earth was done (speaking strangely deliberately). During the “ordinary” misconduct - and at every other time - this individual was among the most self-controlled people I knew because he was determined never to be caught, but at these other times, all self-control was completely gone.

Then beat up, or murdered in basement, then how many dragged that dead weight, thru a door, then up the bulkhead to yard, all the way thru the backyard, thru a gate, leaving NO EVIDENCE outside on the yard, dragged all the way to the corner of yard, then hidden under snow? Yet his hat was found under 12 to 20” of snow? The drinking straw. The pieces of taillight, found as snow melted, not WHAT? Is she saying someone collected pieces of tail lights & spread them there? The evidence photos show how much snow was over things. And how did she see him, laying under snow, when they drove by?

Ill give you a great example of how criminal trials especially have turned into entertainment: I was a (young) teen when OJ started which effected me greatly moving forward in life. I went into professional theater after college. But after awhile, I decided to change gears and became a paralegal....specifically focusing on criminal litigation. I swear... a paralegal is very similar to a Stage Manager and esp Defense Attorneys are really just Actors in better costumes educated in the law. ,The job was so similar. I felt even more overwhelmed and overworked. I enjoyed both professions. The money was better in the legal world. But the pressure was 10x worse. Plus, the attorneys acted just like petulant children... demanding the same thing as actors. I ultimately couldn't stand it. I didn't feel like i was making a difference at all. So, I'm now working a regular 9-5 job. Not nearly as passionate about it... but my blood pressure is a lot lower.

KR’S PREVIOUS ADMISSIONS / EVENTS (Is KR in fact the conspirator)?
    1. ‘WBZ-TV Report ‘ on 3 Feb 2022 (on YT) regarding the court hearing on 2 February 2022 (Stoughton District Court - where KR faced the charges relating to JO’s death and was released on $50k bail) verifies upon questioning KR told LE:
(a). She dropped JO off because she was having stomach issues (this contradicts what she told JO’s niece that they had an argument and her subsequent voice mails).
(b). She made a three point turn in the road and left.
(c). She did not see JO enter or go to the Alberts house (this contradicts her interviews afterwards where she says she did and of which formed part of the (later) alleged frame job and conspiracy theory).
(d). Confirming KR did take JO to the Alberts house in her SUV and verifying the sightings oh her car out the front are true.
(e). She first observed her broken taillight that morning and did not know how she broke it (this contradicts what she said afterwards it was due to hitting JO’s SUV as part of the (later) alleged frame job and conspiracy theory and if that were true she would have said so at that time).
(f). Confirmed she said at the time of finding JO: “I hit him” three times.
    2. Yannetti (representing KR):
(a). Accepted the above with no denials.
(b). Represented to the court that KR “lacked any criminal intent in the motor vehicle accident”.
    3. Yannetti then told reporters outside of the court:
    (a). “KR was in shock”.
(b). “JO’s death had been an innocent accident”.
(c). “KR had no criminal intent”.
(d). “KR loved this man and was devastated”.
    4. ‘Boston 25 News’ on 8 August 2023 (on YT) - KR’s parents interview whereby her father says (shortly after JO was found) that KR told him:
    (a). “Dad I think I struck something”.
(b). “I remember backing up and hitting something”.
    5. This is obviously referring to hitting JO, otherwise if she was referring to (allegedly) hitting JO’s SUV she would have known that, said so, and not used the word “something”. Not to say: even if she did hit his SUV it was barely a nudge and was not with her taillight but her bumper (bumpers were invented to prevent body to body contact) and hence there being no damage to JO’s car.
    6. KR had also called JO 53 times from getting to JO’s house to the time he was found and left voicemails (showing possible state of mind and coming across as fuelled with anger/rage) stating things such as:
    (a). “John I f***ing hate you”.
    (b). “You are a f***ing loser”.
    (c). “F*** yourself”.
    7. JO’s niece testified on oath on 28 May 2024, that at the house before KR began looking for JO she had said to her:
(a). That she and JO had an argument that night.
(b). “May be I did something” (lining up with what she also said to her father as above).
(c). And then “Maybe a snowplow hit him”.
    (d) The niece also heard KR say to a person on the phone:
    (i). “Did I hit him”.
(ii). And “Could I have hit him”.
(e). As other witnesses have also attested to including Kerry Roberts and Jen McCabe.
(f). The niece also gave evidence that JO had advised KR the relationship was over and he wanted her to leave but KR refused to accept it.
    8. Further before JO was found:
(a). As below via interviews, KR said: “What I thought could have happened was that did I incapacitate him unwittingly, somehow, and then in his drunkenness, he passed out”?
(b). KR told Kerry Roberts that JO was dead.
(c). KR’s irrational type of behaviour at this time was very exaggerated / dramatic in regards to JO having not come home yet (if it were true that she did not know of anything else being wrong and that via later interviews she says she saw JO go into / to the house). Eg. JO could have simply been sleeping on the Alberts couch, etc, or got a lift to stay at a friends who lives locally as Jen McCabe had suggested initially where JO may be.
(d). KR (whilst having every opportunity over a period of around two hours or more) never asked Jen McCabe or anyone else, if they knew if JO was still at the Alberts house, or if he had left, and if so what time? Nor did she drive to the Alberts and knock on the door to check if he was there.
(e). Whilst KR also initially stated she had left JO at the WF until Jen McCabe advised her she had been seen at the Alberts. KR then said she couldn’t remember going to the Alberts, but then later recalled it.
(f). It’s been suggested by some, the bed was made, KR did not go to sleep but rather was up all night trying to figure out her next move and including then obtaining witnesses (KR and JM) to finding JO and that she is in fact the conspirator.
    9. At the scene and JO being found KR made no mention of JO going to the house at all whatsoever, but rather as above said she said she hit him three times.
    10. Hence, even by reason of the above examples, it appears, KR knew JO never went in to the Alberts house (lining up with what she told LE initially (as above)), however contradicting herself later (via interviews as below) that she saw JO go into / to the house and what had previously occurred with JO.
    11. As above, as part of the (later) alleged frame job and conspiracy theory, she started changing her story as to what she had previously said.
    12. Eg, via the interviews she said:
(a). She saw JO go into the house.
(b). She saw JO go up to the front door of the house.
(c). Via the interviews, KR also said (as to what she thought at the time): “What I thought could have happened was that did I incapacitate him unwittingly, somehow, and then in his drunkenness, he passed out”?
    (d). KR interviews on YT:
(i). ABC News - ‘Accused slain cop’s girlfriend maintains innocence | Nightline’.
(ii). TODAY - ‘New questions emerge surrounding ‘Taillight Murder’.
    13. Verifying, KR has given at least three different stories at three different times even in regards to seeing JO go to the Alberts house (coming across as she can’t get her story straight):
(a). Initially she told LE she did not see JO go to the house.
(b). Then via interviews (after the frame job and conspiracy theory was formulated) she said:
(i). She saw JO go in the house.
(ii). She saw JO go up to the front door of the house.
    14. Pursuant to court documents KR took deliberate action and provided a blogger with confidential information in more than 40 hours of conversations during 189 phone calls and via other methods of communication from 17 April 2023.
    15. After the state upgraded the charges to second degree murder and around a year after the fact, the alleged frame job and conspiracy theory was formulated and began.
    16. As above, what KR said previously is in contradiction of the defense, the frame job and the conspiracy theory.
As the sayings go: ordinarily the truth does not need a good memory, and never changes, but lies do.
    * All the information above is; as reported and also available via google and YT, and/or, formed part of the trial (of which is classed as evidence until such time as another person gave evidence and proved it wrong).

I think she did have access to the ring-cam as she mentioned it in the BH text messages. Not long after JO was pronounced dead she’s at home on her laptop with mobile next to her.
It seems the brain tumour is nonsense. If she had it removed her hair would not be that long or she would have a shorter patch. I’ve also wondered if the MS was a lie (no mention of either of these things at least as yet through the trial).

I am the same I feel that Roberta Glass has made some truly remarkable episodes about how the media can and does subvert the judicial process which in turn has lead to a movement meant to undermine it. She deserves real credit for her journalism. However of late particularly in the Karen Read trial she is undermining her solid reputation. There simply is enough reasonable doubt in this case for a not guilty verdict. Also take into account Michael Proctors evidence and his recently being 'moved ' to another district there seems to be grounds for further investigation and the FBI and internal affairs are also investigating Proctor.

Somebody in the chat said to me “ppl can make decisions how they want whenever they want.” Yes, ppl can! But consider times in your own life when it felt like the odds were stacked against you…consider times when you felt judged by others because they made a rash decision about you! It’s happened to me before.
I don’t give a damn if KR is found guilty or not, I don’t know her! But it’s fair to be as impartial as possible until all the evidence and witnesses have spoken. A lot of y’all have already decided as if the trial is over….as if u have all the info…as if u were there…as if there is not still reasonable doubt after 20+ days of state witnesses.
If u don’t like KR just say that but not liking someone does not make them a murderer.

    • @Sunshinejen
      @Sunshinejen 3 місяці тому +11

To me the evidence that makes me see that it’s only reasonable that KR killed JO is because her behavior in the morning of the 29th before she finds John make no sense. Why is she hysterical? She knows she left JO at the Albert’s, so why wouldn’t she simply think he is there, asleep and perhaps he’s not answering her because of bad reception. When JO didn’t return to the room in Aruba on NYE her she’s not worried, she’s pissed and jealous. But on the 29th she behaves oddly. Then in the car ride with Kerry driving, KR doesn’t quiz Jen about what happened last night and what did John say. Could John have gone home with someone else? KR ask nothing like that because the only logical conclusion is she hit him. Of course she says did I hit him, that’s evidence. KR’s twilight is broken, the glass from the restaurant.

    • @Lookup33
      @Lookup33 3 місяці тому +2

@@Sunshinejen I understand where u r coming from. If u were on the jury, would that be enough for you to return a guilty verdict? To me, there is odd behavior in all of them. Personally I have to watch the defense’s presentation before I feel I’ve seen all the info. Even then, there may still be more holes than Swiss cheese in this case. But that actually works for the defensive, holes cause reasonable doubt. I’d be lying if I didn’t have reasonable doubt as to Karen’s guilt, but…the state still has time to prove it.

@@Lookup33 I will listen to the defense. However, I can’t get by what I said before, plus the car data showing she backed up at 23 miles an hour that night. We all saw how slowly KR backed up from the driveway, but yet, she drove backwards at 23 mph where she just dropped off her boyfriend. I actually went to an empty parking lot the other day and attempted backing up that quickly. It was pretty scary and I stopped at 10 miles and hour because I felt like I could lose control. Karen had the means, motive(jealousy and anger because John wanted her to move out because she couldn’t get over what happened in Aruba) and opportunity.

    • @Lookup33
      @Lookup33 3 місяці тому +1

@@Sunshinejen yes I saw some videos on YT as well with ppl trying to back up fast. One guy backed up with a Lexus and got to 19 mph I believe, and even at that speed he was shocked how someone else could. Have you considered that she could have been caught on an ice or snow patch? I’ve gotten my car to higher RPM’s just trying to get unstuck. I remember one time I had to rip up a cardboard box and stick it under the tire so try n get out. But the damn cardboard kept flying out from underneath lol. The spreadsheet showed speed, but traction wasn’t a part of the equation. The wheels could be spinning, the engine could be revving…but the car won’t move without traction.
