Has anyone achieved the buttruous (?) rootbases in bonsai? I remember you potted one of your ficus into a very wide pot, trying to see if the long path the nutrients in the long roots will lead to its top swelling up, creating the characteristic look. I don't remember if you're still trying it that way or which one of your ficus that was, though. Then I could check in its playlist I reckon

I’ve always admired the trunk on this one. It was so smooth and unblemished. I’m looking forward to seeing it growing happily again. :)

The tree thicken up a lot in last 2-3 year's, but now without that lower branch it will be a big tree on the end .
