- Join me for a day in the life of a heavy plant mechanic working in construction, forestry and quarries ! I work for Scotlands only dealer of Develon construction equipment we do diggers, dozers, shovels and dump trucks ! In this episode I’ll be doing some tractoring but Monday I really don’t want to work I’ve got man flu and I get a call to fix a CAT dozer ?
Like tractor videos , I have 17 machines and a few tractors in my collection. Love ploughing videos, find them so relaxing to watch . This bloody rain is getting me down.
Thought field work was easygoing, but what a science to it Ali 🙏
Nice to see a bit of the farming activity along side your normal work need to watch that GPS mind I could put a dot on the map in exact field you mapped 🤣

Is a fair drop down to that river on the new bypass. I hauled ballast in for the crane that lifted the temporary bridge in.

Yea I did but had a window open too normally ok
Could try putting a slight off set to compensate for S.D, we run a a horch terrano trailed machine and you can see it crab down the field, depending on how deep you have the discs.
