@@godric7810 sprint and right before you get to where the water gets shallow near the edge right click you'll do the water lunge but it carries to the ground and grabs them.
The first ones, who thought you were a canni, were most likely going off your skin.. for some reason people are saying ANY albino/mostly white deino is a canni, even if you never saw them kill a croc. Its dumb, but I can understand why. A lot of cannis were rocking albino skins on spiro, so people came up with the KOS for them.

My deino gameplay: no one ever going near the water in 100/100 populated server. This guy's gameplay: player literally jumping at the opportunity to feed him.
I’m just sticking to the bottom of the water and go out only when I am running out of oxigen. Also, the only thing I eat is big fish. Hard to find anything on the official servers

WTF, that charge mechanic at 4:00 and then taking the prey to drown, that's just genius. I haven't played this in a while, it's starting to look damn good.
I've been snatched by many crocs. Many times I've been out in the open plains walking around looking for food wondering to myself in random thought, "wonder if any of those crocs was DefeatPete?".
I found so many beautiful spots that perfect for herbivores and carnivores (including omnivores) on gateway yet people just keep staying in one or two spots on the map, doesnt help with migration being broken
Wish I could see as a deino underwater like this. I see maybe 3-5 feet infront of me and everything else is a cloud. Ive posted screen shots on the subreddit done everything recommeneded still cant see anything. Changed settings, deleted the config folder etc still cant see. Then in this video you can basically see everything underwater as a big deino im so jealous.
@@DefeatPeteyeah I see how you do at the end the entire time no matter what. Unless I go to a river then its crystal clear. One of the patches a few weeks ago did it.
Hey Pete, I know its a lot to ask as we are already getting so many streams and videos from you but if possible can you make a short film (2-5 min) style video of any of your kills which would be perfect for a scene like that...with that replay effect which gets recorded from many angles (sorry i forgot its name).
I would like to use it! The replay function is pretty much broken atm though, so 90% of the replays simply don't work. I'll use it more once its functional!
I last played maybe 2 months ago. But I think I'll jump at it again. But Deino didn't work very well for me, because somehow I can hardly find food. However, the server I play on is usually full. And I often run into other crocs who are not very friendly. But I always enjoy watching such videos because you can learn a lot from them. You have to be soulless as a carnivore. If an opportunity arises, it should not be missed. But I think with a herbivore's brain (even as a carnivore) and I tend to be more friendly towards others. For some it works, for some it doesn't.
I have yet to be taken out by a deinosuchus, even though Ive tempted fate many times, Ive usually grown my herbivores too much to be bothered, been ramming some with my diabloceratops, teasing with my Maia, and skewerd a couple with my stego, a few snacks with my ceratosaurus, and full on circus 🎉 with my beipisaurus 😂
I have been trying to play as Croc for several days but a haker always appears throughout the day and reappears next to us and attacks us until we kill us, no matter how many times you kill him, he reappears and attacks like this constantly, up to 7 consecutive reappearances next to us to kill me and that It has completely ruined my experience.
8:57 Now I’m thinking of a made up species of alligator who takes their prey into the water and pierces them with sharp underwater branches. Like an alligator shrike combo.
how do you do that? ive noticed in many of your videos where your swimming in the water at an even level and not dipping down to the ground, when i swim and put my camera below or above my deino it end up swimming in the direction of the camera so if im in deep water and look above water with the camera i end up just swimming down
how do you get your water so clear. whenever i play i cant see more than 3 feet in front of me but your water is like glass compared to mine that's like swimming through fog not the river the river is clear like yours but your lake is unbelievably clear. how do i fix this?
Thank you for your vids, I love seeing them. But I have trouble seeing under water as a deino. I went to the lake in north to see the same result at nice weather as you, but i cant see much. The only thing I see is the tail of my deino and the rest is all blue/green water color. So I don't see anything in front of me so hunting is impossible. Anybody any Ideas how to fix it?
They really need to sort out the water quality in that NE lake. When you're even just 20% grown, you can't see anything. As a 100% adult, you can't see your head when under the water. Makes hunting anything under the surface, neigh on impossible. But just seeing you under water was a shock. My vision is useless. Even with or without NV on.
I quit playing deino because the game doesnt always save your dino when you log out. For something with such a time investment thats just really annoying.

Playing crocodile alone is not very challenging, but together it becomes even enjoyable.
And even less challenging
It's challenging to find people to actually kill besides fish. Most other players with experience know how to avoid Deinos.

Pretty sure that's because of the latest update. The only time you can see clearly underwater now is if it's daytime and a ice sunny day.
I could only see while I was smaller! It gets really murky once you get some size, like at 20:45

They live mysterious lives! Sometimes they gather, other times they seem to take a extended vacation
Ai only spawns in areas where there are groups of players, same as legacy

Just came back after update. I noticed the lakes are more hazey and also what happened to the fish spawns? There’s none in the lakes or rivers.
They broke it like legacy. Ai only spawns near groups

It varies depending on a few things! Smaller gators see better and further for starters. Your vision also changes between the lakes and the rivers

My biggest peeve I’d have to say is sport killing or killing when you have absolutely no reason too
