Best wag to start the new year 2024: Wavepool Buesum! With a bunch of rc Modelships! And it really was a great event! Quite a lot of ships, including the big BUGSIER 19 Tug, the NEPTUN,.., carried our cameras... and brought us really spectacular pictures back home....
Whenever possible the Pool and Spa MEERZEIT Büsum allows us to use their Pools to have some great Indoor-Tropical-Sailing Experiences... :-)

Die beste Art das neue Jahr 2024 einzuläuten: Wellenbad Büsum! Zusammen mit vielen anderen begeisterten Modellbauern und ihren Modellen wurde es erneut zu einem absolut tollen Event!
Viele Modelle, inkl. des großen BUGSIER 19, der tapferen Neptun, ..., trugen unsere Kameras ins Wellenbad und brachten uns spektakuläre Aufnahmen mit an Land!
Wenn möglich, ermöglicht uns das "Wellenbad und Spa MEERZEIT Büsum" die Benutzung Ihrer Pools um ein tolles Winterfahrvergnügen in Tropischen Bedingungen zu haben.... :-) Vielen Danke dafür, wir kommen als Badegäste wieder!

Good start to the new year. Some new vessels on hand. The very attractive "HOHEBURG" is a nice ship. Really liked the wave pool, "Bug Tug" makes it look easy. Thanks.
Hi Ray,... yes,.. but the Bug Tug (nice Name 😅👍) is a huge one... and has plenty of power to get itself out of picky situations... ( ...and did so more than once!).
Actually some smaller vessels did get into the surf and were rolled over two or more times.. sadly with a lot of damage to them. 😔

The Icebreaker with the polar bear on board (which I'm sure has to be kept fully feed and happy all the time 😅🐻❄️🥩🍗🍖🍔🍣 for the crews sake ) is the Steamship STETTIN,.. which is still a fully operational Museums ship one can even take tours aboard! Thanks a lot, my friend! Sadly this time only a hand full of participants arrived due to mirror frozen streets that day... was quite an adventure even to get to the north sea harbour town of Buesum... but as usually it was rewarded with a day inside the pool with tropical temperatures 😇🌞👍

Für alle die die Kommentare mitlesen: die Neptun ist ein kleiner Schlepper, denn die Brandungszone geraten ist und von Brechern überrannt wurde!! Ein echt zäher, kleiner Schlepper!!
For the ones, keeping up with the comments: The NEPTUNE is the small Tug with the orange stripes at the superstructure... and it got caught in the surfzone where the waves just went over it and rolled it like a log... but the owner just stated that the little tough Tug already is up and running again! Which is most impressive... especialy if you know that it was salt water in that wave pool!
Bis auf das Lenk servo und ein paar abgebrochenen Kleinteilen ist alles heil geblieben. Sie hat für den nächsten Einsatz in rauer See noch ein paar Verbesserungen bekommen. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Video
