Felt like it was mad aggressive for just the start of the episode. I dont watch boogie, only hear him from others so i have an idea of him. But to see him just chatting casually, the passive aggressive comments from nux just come out pretty bad and makes it hard to watch.
Boogie himself acknowledged that he *was* jumping from point to point without letting anyone chime in. I think it's more noticeable because Oompa was completely checked out and Muta was only chiming in once in a while in this one.

I know this is potentially an unpopular opinion... but when Boogie is just casually talking (Like when he chats casually with Oompa about Virginia etc) is still the same boogie that everyone enjoyed back in the day. I think with the gift of hindsight the bane of his existence is trying to have an opinion on EVERYTHING whilst having a toxic mixture of arrogance and contradictions. A lot of that can likely be explained by his claims of being "high-functioning autistic" and his history of being abused, but mainly the lack of willpower to try and improve himself. He's got his issues but the real tragic thing for me as an old fan of his is to see the nice somewhat charming person in there (I know he was never a saint don't get me wrong), given the sheer level of impulsiveness though I don't know if he can ever change his ways, especially with the sheer level of health problems. This should be the catalyst to reform himself so he can be there for his partner, instead he's just sort of given up and embraced his more harmful tendencies. I think he's an idiot but I really hope that if this has to be his twilight years then he's going to do what he can to try and be happy.

Hi all, I'd like to give a little insight into dialysis and kidney transplant from a perspective of someone who has been through both. -Dailysis treatments are typically done 3 days a week and can run anywhere from 4-5 hours depending on what the doctor has you on depending on blood work results. Yes, when on dialysis they do tend to give you blood thinners through the machine to prevent your blood from clotting up the machine. If you clot the machine they have to completely tear it down and re-do everything. There are two different types of access they use; a port (which I'm not too educated on) and something called a fistula - which is a vien connected to an artery to increase blood flow in the area you get poked. You can either bleed a lot or not bleed at all, it depends on how much blood thinner they've given you. Dailysis takes a lot out of you physically, at some points your blood pressure can becoming dangerously low, for example one time I had a blood pressure of 60/40 it sucked. The kidney transplant list you can be on it from a year up to 5 or 6 years. I got lucky and was on the list for 10 months.

I've never watched Nux, so idk if this is just them, but they really detracted from the interview. I enjoyed this episode of the podcast, despite Nux. I'm sure they're a great person/content creator and maybe I'll enjoy their contributions in other episodes I end up watching. The unnecessary friction and constant interruptions mixed with how he goes about the interview just didn't make for the best experience, I guess.

Like it's tough I get it but the others struggle with it too but nowhere close to how he does. He hasn't improved since I've been watching the past 40ish episodes. Bleeding alot after dialysis is normal. My mom went thru it. If they dont make use the person has stopped bleeding before they leave it will carry on for a good while. My moms clinic used special bandaids that help stop the bleeding faster.

@gamfluent2857 I get what you are saying but like in this episode, besides oompa, the first quarter of the episode was hard to watch. Felt like it was mad aggressive for just the start of the episode. I dont watch boogie, only hear him from others so i have an idea of him. But to see him just chatting casually, the passive aggressive comments from nux just come out pretty bad and makes it hard to watch.
Boogie himself acknowledged that he *was* jumping from point to point without letting anyone chime in. I think it's more noticeable because Oompa was completely checked out and Muta was only chiming in once in a while in this one.

I know this is potentially an unpopular opinion... but when Boogie is just casually talking (Like when he chats casually with Oompa about Virginia etc) is still the same boogie that everyone enjoyed back in the day. I think with the gift of hindsight the bane of his existence is trying to have an opinion on EVERYTHING whilst having a toxic mixture of arrogance and contradictions.
A lot of that can likely be explained by his claims of being "high-functioning autistic" and his history of being abused, but mainly the lack of willpower to try and improve himself.
He's got his issues but the real tragic thing for me as an old fan of his is to see the nice somewhat charming person in there (I know he was never a saint don't get me wrong), given the sheer level of impulsiveness though I don't know if he can ever change his ways, especially with the sheer level of health problems. This should be the catalyst to reform himself so he can be there for his partner, instead he's just sort of given up and embraced his more harmful tendencies. I think he's an idiot but I really hope that if this has to be his twilight years then he's going to do what he can to try and be happy.

Hi all, I'd like to give a little insight into dialysis and kidney transplant from a perspective of someone who has been through both.
-Dailysis treatments are typically done 3 days a week and can run anywhere from 4-5 hours depending on what the doctor has you on depending on blood work results. Yes, when on dialysis they do tend to give you blood thinners through the machine to prevent your blood from clotting up the machine. If you clot the machine they have to completely tear it down and re-do everything. There are two different types of access they use; a port (which I'm not too educated on) and something called a fistula - which is a vien connected to an artery to increase blood flow in the area you get poked. You can either bleed a lot or not bleed at all, it depends on how much blood thinner they've given you. Dailysis takes a lot out of you physically, at some points your blood pressure can becoming dangerously low, for example one time I had a blood pressure of 60/40 it sucked. The kidney transplant list you can be on it from a year up to 5 or 6 years. I got lucky and was on the list for 10 months.

I don’t understand Nux’s hate and annoyance at Boogie, at the end of the day, Boogie has just hurt himself and is annoying. He’s not evil or harming others. So why is nux so overly aggressive like he has personal beef with boogie? It’s annoying. Oompa and Mutah both criticize boogie without sounding aggressive and off base, and maintaining a friendly composure. Nux barely lets him talk and has so much aggression towards someone who hasn’t really done anything that bad. Why’d they even invite him on if Nux was gonna act like this?

I've never watched Nux, so idk if this is just them, but they really detracted from the interview. I enjoyed this episode of the podcast, despite Nux. I'm sure they're a great person/content creator and maybe I'll enjoy their contributions in other episodes I end up watching. The unnecessary friction and constant interruptions mixed with how he goes about the interview just didn't make for the best experience, I guess.
You worded my feeling to this episode to tea. The beginning part felt mad aggressive for the podcast. Nux was never a bother for me. Not my kind of humor but other like it and he does have his moments. But to start a podcast like that, just makes me wanna skip this weeks episode. Luckly tho after the first half, the conversation felt like a regular episode, was fun to watch.

I think Nux was maybe frustrated and didn't regulate that in the best way, and I really hope Boogie is able to follow through. Bleeding alot after dialysis is normal. My mom went thru it. If they dont make use the person has stopped bleeding before they leave it will carry on for a good while. My moms clinic used special bandaids that help stop the bleeding faster.
