If I have to pick between processor speed or screen resolution, I'm going to go with processor speed every time. There's a double effect that the lower screen resolution will also be less taxing on the already more powerful processor, allowing the phone to probably be used for a bit longer without starting to slow down.
Phones don't slow down the apps processing power requirments go up
Yeah there is less gpu power required when the display resolution is lower.
for me, I'd rather choose Galaxy a32 4g, base on my use of this. it's my daily driver, I am pretty impressed. it makes my phone experience easy, I don't even experience lag or what so ever. a32 4g is a really great phone to consider for its price.

I just got the A32 4G as a Christmas gift from my wife and it's the best phone I ever had. I really didn't know the difference between the 4G and 5G especially to purchase a case but this review comparison helped a whole lot...Thanks!!!

Agreed that the specs for the a32 can be confusing. My wife plays NO games but likes watching UA-cam and browsing/looking at pics, so I went with the A32 4G.
Wait there are more then 2 versions?! I find the differences between the 4g and 5g already weird. Like the more expensive 5g has worse display and less MP, but has bigger display and more settings. So much differences between these two, quite bizarre

The colour range of this phone is pretty good and I love the Helio chipset for its gaming support

The biggest pro to having an LCD display, over an AMOLED display, is that UPC/barcode scanners work more reliably with LCD panels. If you have an app which displays a barcode to be scanned by a retailer, it is less of a hassle to use an LCD display.

Thanks for the review as i was considering both versions and wanted to check each out, this was perfect. Think i will go with the 4g. My present phone does not work outside Canada any more not even 911 and the battery is not lasting long, its a Galaxy J prime. Being a senior this seems to do what i need it to do.

Just to let y'all know, 18Hrs SOT is phenomenal battery life. The A30s lasts me 9Hr56Mins and it can do 1.5 days if I'm being a little conservative. So for those who is planning to get this A32 due to battery life, though I won't, I suggest y'all to get it.
Most third-tier chipsets have great battery life for obvious reasons. I can get 10h SoT on my Pixel 4a 5g using navigation with LTE on! Using my S20U for the same I was lucky to get 6.5h, and that had a 25% bigger battery to compensate for the larger display.

Great review! Buddha wins 😃 Now i'm making it even more confusing by saying that both screens looks just as good on this side. It's strange but true they look almost identical on my very good Asus Chromebook screen. I like the bigger screen size 6.5 though, not the 6.4 size. The video and still photos looked very good to me, no complaints only 👏 to both, probably best for their price range?

I think Samsung has done a pretty solid job with both these phones . Helio G80 is a good choice for the 4G variant because it brings forth gaming support as well with the AMOLED display and 6GB RAM being steady supports.
Another hardware difference is that the A32 4G has a dedicated SD card slot + two SIM slots, whereas in the A32 5G there are only 2: a SIM slot + a shared SIM/SD card slot. Maybe this is dependent on region, though.
i own the a32 5g no lag no problems i udated it once and had to restart my phone but other than that great phone especially for boost mobile

The 5G model is pretty decent with a powerful Dimensity 720 soc
To have a lighter picture on 720p just set ur screen on light all the way
A32 has a super Amoled screen,90hz,800nits(bright and more accurate colors) But in the other hand if you know you really want a 5G phone you know what to do
The only superior thing that the 5G version has is its processor, then the 4G version surpasses it in all aspects.
Now i imagined like going out to test like two phones and you pull out the first one to take a selfie and then you pull out the other phone. This probably looks funny i guess

My only critique of this review is that it would have been very helpful if the numerical information were spoken as well as written in text in screen. Would make absorbing the information a bit easier...maybe even the use of arrows to help differentiate between the two, they look nearly identical.
the colors told the difference between the two. However, as fantastic as the explanation was, it would have been even better to keep the 4G always on the left and the 5G always on the right. IMHO

@Nirmal Shahzadi on intense use the phone lasts for at least 6 hours. On light use the phone can easily last one and a half day no problem. So battery is no issue at all and i use my pho e alot for gaming and youtube.

Hii, can u pls make a comparison between galaxy A51 and Galaxy A32 4G? I'm kinda confused which should i buy since the A51 price is now the same as A32 4G price in my country
A32 4G slightly edges out since it's newer, looks better (to my eyes subjectively) and has slightly better chip but tbh forget both phones, instead I would highly HIGHLY recommend you to save a bit more money and get the A52 instead which is legit huge upgrade from both phones in every aspect, for not much more price premium (at least in my place with discount and all). Trust me, it will help your experience in the long run with the A52. Better screen, way better camera with OIS, IP67 water dust resistant, better performance, stereo speakers. A52 is really jam packed for the mid-range price. Hope this helps, cheers 😁

Amigo tengo el A32 5G de metropcs y en verdad la pantalla es inferior pero en cuanto a las aplicaciones en general es mejor este modelo raro con 90 hz en la pantalla. Es más rápido y en el día a día dura más la batería que el modelo 4G porque un amigo tiene el 4G y yo el de 5G y solo gana en pantalla todo lo demás es inferior increíblemente, ni yo mismo me lo creo, pero es real.

I’m not sure the exact 3aXL MP, it’s somewhere between 12.2MP I believe. I have had an A32 5G for a few months now, and the camera quality I believe is somewhat comparable. There’s pros and cons in each phone.

A52 5G still better all-rounder imo. While the performance slightly lesser but it got way better screen with 120Hz, IP67 water dust resistant, better camera with OIS, stereo speakers. It's no-brainer choice really. My 2 cents ...

Yes the 120GHz display is nice I just don't care about it. I don't care about the IP rating either. That is why I would like to see a comparison.

Anyway, A52 5G will be the only choice you'll have at last, because it's the successor to the A51 series which has been discontinued. Yea the chipset slightly slower and even if you don't care about 120Hz screen, the new phone improved a lot in many fundamental aspects like brighter screen, better speakers, better cameras and better ingress protection which is something many average users will noticed and appreciated. My 2 cents, cheers 🤭
