@@natedoggg2002 You're 1000% percent right in what you wrote brother, that's also my opinion as well, even though Al Pacino delivered a 100% satisfaction according to his role in scent of a woman, but if we compare the personality of the late Al Haj Mr Malcolm X (he may rest in peace) in the movie Malcolm X and Mr Al Pacino in Scent of a woman, both Mr Washington and his performance would've and should've won the Oscar, but in my opinion the academy made a very very big mistake by putting both movie in the same category, and I also think that they did that on purpose🙄why? First of all this is the story of a great African American, secondly this is the story of a great Muslim who they considered him as a threat to the whole system, so certainly they didn't wanna give the Oscar to that movie 😔😔😔😔
However Mr Al Pacino is also oppressed somehow by the academy, love both of them, but Denzel Washington is something unique and will never be a new Denzel Washington 🙏👍👍👍👍 peace

So.. the man in prison asks "What's your name?" And the answer was some name. The man replies "No, that's not your name, that's what your slave master gave you"... in another argument, some say that your name doesn't make you but you make the name. Malcolm X himself was a great example for this. He chose his last name to be simply "X" and it was him who gave that simple letter a meaning.

That’s why Denzel didn’t get an Oscar. However, Training day, the acting was exceptional, in fact Training day wouldn’t be the same movie without Denzel’s acting. The lesson here is that just because we have been entertained doesn’t mean it deserves an Oscar.

Faith temple church of God in christ bishop Alvin A. Childs pastor. Also the Mayor of Harlem at the time . Bishop Childs said yes to holding malcolm x funeral at faith temple upon doing so Bishop childs and his family were threatened needed police protection . Bishop childs son Alvin childs jr. Said of his father believed God would protect and shield them. So why not come back to the original church and film. malcolm x wife Betty Shabazz always returned with her daughters to say thank Bishop childs and faith temple church of God in christ . Later renamed Child's memorial temple church of God in christ. So my question is how come spike Lee didn't come . This question was asked by my uncle Bishop norman Nelson Quick years ago he nor Bishop childs are here today so I'm asking the question. Why not come back to the original church.
