Thanks for this, Adam. If SureCart has its own payment gateways, how does this play with WooCommerce payment settings? Do these need to be erased (if I had these set up before?) or left out?
SureCart is completely separate from WooCommerce, so you would have to recreate your products and connect up your payment methods for SureCart (and rebuild your product / store pages) and disable WooCommerce entirely.

Looks like Zack clarified, thanks Zack!! And yes, the tax setting in SureCart are so easy to implement, it's just a switch to turn it on really. And you get real time tax calculations powered by TaxJar, completely for free. This is why it's so easy to enable.
While editing the two column template, I don't have the section that says "dimensions" does that come from having Astra? If I'm using Thrive Theme Builder do I have to install Astra in order to have the dimensions section in the editor? Will that mess up TTB?
I don't have the dimensions option to add padding to the column either and am using Divi. Is it an update or something we need to do?

Product revisions have changed the sidebar options since the video was made - there's another row of tabs below "Checkout Form" and Block" -- "Settings" and "Design" ... look for the 'dimensions' in the "Design" tab. HTH
This is great, but anything similar to do the same in WooCommerce which is same to Shopify checkout page
You can use the free CartFlows for that.
I am from india i like the surecart but it doesn't have razorpay payment gateway integration and shiprocket logistic integration. without these surecart is useless for us. please add these as soon as possible

Can you add local pick up option?
Sure. The checkout form is VERY flexable and allows you to add custom fields for anything you want. So you can add a custom radio box style option for the buyer to choose local pickup or shipping.

Whilst this looks good from the checkout point-of-view, I'm confused as to what information you can put into your product itself as it appears very limited. Am I right in saying physical products needing descriptions etc. are a no-no with Surecart, and it is only suited to downloadable items?
This is a checkout only, this is not the product page which can have whatever content you desire.
OK. Problems with this tutorial... First, there is no Dimensions section with a Padding slider for the column block in my editor. Second, I created custom classes to compensate for the missing Padding slider. However, the form column creates inline styles of 0 padding, so it overrides my custom class styles.
You may need spectra plugin enabled to have that. He had spectra installed during the tutorial.

Its a petty that SureCart uses actions and date transmissions through their US servers. In the FAQ, they say that they are GDPR-compliant. That just isn't true! In GDPR the website owner is not allowed to establish third party connections WITHOUT the consent from the user. That in mind it's not working for users, which don't give that consent via a cookie consent banner - SureCart then will just don't load.
I was interested to buy it, but as a EU user it's not possible for me 😞
Why not implementing the possibility to handle all data (exept the payment data, which are only send by a click from the user) locally?
SureCart is fully GDPR-compliant and I would invite you to read our terms which are found on our website. We are a US-based company, our servers are in the US, and data will be stored in the US. We follow two such mechanisms: a data processing addendum; and voluntary participation in the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework principles and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework.
We are following the same exact policies as all the online services you are already currently using.
I would also like to specifically refer you to the Schrems II rulings as they pertain to data privacy/transfer. The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) ruled that when you use the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as the basis for the transfer of personal data from the EU to the US (and a few other countries) on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses, extra scrutiny and safeguards must be in place.
Our DPA incorporates the new Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) published by the European Commission.
Most issues related to storage of data are a political matter between the US-EU. In March 2022, the US and EU jointly announced a new data sharing agreement which makes this all a moot point. In October 2022, the new framework was enacted by the US government. In December 2022, the European Commission announced a draft decision on U.S. adequacy, paving the way for a replacement EU-U.S. data transfer deal to be adopted in 2023.
In conclusion:
- SCCs make data transfer possible now
- The new US-EU agreement will also make data transfer possible, but with legal certainty
But at the end of the day, someone should choose to use what they are most comfortable with.
