Would just like to add one of my own. Gabba, 2021. As an Indian, I'll never forget this match. This match culminated a brilliant tour by India in Australia. Both teams were neck and neck in the whole tour. Australia winning the ODI series, India winning the T20 one. Then 36 all out in 1st test, Virat going home, Rahane century, Vihari and Ashwin giving complex to the wall and Pant's heroics. All of this without the regulars. Simply Amazing!

Because that bowler after that event fought hard and made England win one memorable Ashes test match, 2019 World Cup final and 2022 World Cup T20 final. Whereas Carlos didn't do anything special after his heroics of 2016 with just an exception of one innings in losing cause against New Zealand in World Cup 2019..
These days the only people who need to remember Carlos' name are the people letting him know when his stint as a commentator is about to start...

This is a brilliant list. When you include the underrated Chennai test match between Ind vs Pak you know it's a quality list.
ICC WC11 ,INDIA lift the world cup after 28 years that was the best final ever ,DHONI DHONI!!,but the best intense final was the 2019 one ,no one had any idea which direction the game was going to go,that is why not being a part of that final was better.England were generous enough to give free highlights for everyone after they won.INDIA can't give free highlights after game on all platforms,for the general public

Missing India vs Bangladesh match where Bangladesh needed 2 runs off 3 balls, but ended up losing. That match had so many twists and turns, but the final twist came in the last 3 balls. High voltage match, not for the weak hearts...

The New Zealand vs South Africa 2015 semi final is one of the most amazing matches for me. Mainly because of the 2 beautiful teams. That image of Elliot giving Steyn a hand still brings tears to my eyes. Little known fact: Grand Elliot was actually born in South Africa.

I still remember that world Cup in which SA was my favourites and NZ with Bazz won the matches in style including the one against Australia by that Six of Kane Williamson, with both teams in Semi it was abt to be great i think Macculm actually wrote a letter for their countrymen to come and support NZ , when Cory Anderson was gone i thought SA is going to pull this one out bt Elliott....the Superman arrived on that day... Man that was heartbreaking to see Morne Morkel and ABD... 💔💔

@@coldpunk1087 lmao the only football rivalry that comes close is El Classico but by sheer volume of even non cricketing fans who tune in for the frenzy that is India vs Pakistan, El Classico looks like a lost child and I am a Barca fan who has witnessed an El Classico at Camp Nou and seen the India vs Pakistan ICC CWC Semifinal in 2011 at Mohali.

A well researched list. It's never possible to accommodate the best games of all three formats in a list of 10. Everyone will feel some matches are missing, such as Sri-Lanka vs South Africa in Durban in 2018 where Kushal Perera played one of the greatest innings, similarly Australia vs West Indies test in 1999 where Brian Lara played one of the greatest innings. However, WatchMojo tried very hard, put a lot of effort to make it a wonderful combined list. For the No.1 spot, there shouldn't be any question about that. Keep up the good work, and post more good videos about cricket.
Nothing can beat SriLanka vs South Africa test match in Durban. Kusal Perera did wonders and is considered as the greatest test innings in the history of the sport.

Yes. Stokes did it at home but Perera was playing away , foreign conditions. Not a single asian team has won a test series in South Africa. But SL did. This is just for views.

Greatest innings ever is Kapil Dev's 175 in World Cup final 1983 after Ind were at 78-7 and then successfully made 266-8. That match laid foundation for India's first ever World Cup victory and for legacy of Cricket in India to be followed.

1. West Indies Vs Australia 3rd Test 1999. Brian Lara made 153 and almost singlehandedly guided West Indies home.
2. India Vs Australia 2016 World T20. Kohli again shows his class by chasing the target with more than 12 RPO with grounded shots, all scorching the turf.
4. Australia Vs New Zealand 2015 World Cup Group Stage. A match between Left handed quicks ends with Williamson heroics.
5. Pakistan Vs England 2022 1st test. England's new approach and race against the sun on 5th Day.
6. South Africa Vs Sri Lanka 1st Test 2019. Kusal Parera's 153 innings made sure Sri Lanka becomes the first Asian team to win a test series in South Africa.
Headingly 2019.......you'll never see anything like it again.

England actually lost the match by one run. Umpire Joel Wilson don't like Australia. So he didn't gave Stokes lbw while he was plumb. Australia didn't had any review left. 😅

A major change in games before 2011 and present Era matches which has caused huge impact on the matches is introduction of (Decision Review system)DRS. In the classical Era of matches a game can easily became nail bitter if you got couple of poor umpiring decisions against you but now both the sides have a chance to analyze and reverse the umpires decision.
Elliot was a BEAST in that innings. Remember watching it happen

There are a couple of mistakes in the video: 1. It was Steve Harmison who got the final wicket in the Edgbaston test and not Andrew Flintoff. 2. The WC final between England and NZ was in 2019 and not 2015 as shown in the video.
I must commend you on the research you have done and pronunciation, especially that of the Indian and Pakistani players was spot on! Most cricket commentators from the west still pronounce them incorrectly. Great job and very well done👏🏻

And SA's 400+ run Chase against Australia for a batting vs batting
You missed Australia vs Sri Lanka where Mathews and malinga put up one of the best partnerships ever. And the Sri Lanka vs south Africa where kusal Perera put up arguably the best test inning ever
WatchMojo and cricket?? For real!? Wow!! And a pretty great list too! Personally, I'd probably swap 2 (Australia v South Africa) and 5 (Australia v England), but that's probably about it. I might also try and squeeze Michael Bevan's last ball 4 against the West Indies in 1996 to this list. Honestly, you could make separate lists for every format, team/nation or even every T20 league around the world, but you guys still managed to have a balanced mix of all 3 formats as well as old and new which is pretty great too.

With COVID travel restrictions and injuries, India played with their practice bowlers and beat Aus in Gabba for the 1st time. The deeper you get into the details, the more you’d realize how huge the victory was.

One match that deserved to be in this list, should be Natwest Trophy final on Lord's 2002. Mohd Kaif heroics snatched the victory by chasing 326.
2015 world cup group stage Aus v NZ. Low scoring game with almost one of the greatest bowling comebacks by Australia. Mitchell Starc's spell was lethal.
The finisher James Faulkner vs England at the Gabba. Long before Ben Stokes was doing it to Australia, James Faulkner was breaking English hearts.

The underrated and unrecognized greatest knock has to be Kusal Perera's 153 vs SA in 2019 in South Africa against the likes of Dale Styne, Philander and Rabada. It was better than Ben Stokes knock for sure.

8:53 They have it wrong here in the title of 3rd place England vs New Zealand. These both teams clashed in 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup Final not in the 2015 one. It was Australia vs New Zealand in 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup Final which eventually Australia won making them 5 times World Champions.
