i will be trully honest, i've watched your first reaction to JJK and was really liking you guys but when the english dub kicked in i closed the video 🥴🥴 the japanese voice actors are really important to get the maximum of this show, I SWEAR, and im SO HAPPY that you guys now are watching it in japanese! thanks!!!!
Yeah I’m not trying to be horrible but for series like this and demon slayer if it’s in dub I just don’t watch the reactions. The dub gets better in the later seasons but not by a lot.
Yeahhhh pls bring back the DUB!!! The SUB truly does just sound sooooo generic and at times bland. In the show gojo is the fan favorite and probably the most important character, and the DUB va actor portrays Gojo better, especially in season 2. And sukana definitely sounds better in DUB. He sounds so menacing and powerful in the DUB. His laughs and voice just hit so different compared to the SUB. The SUB isn’t completely terrible but a lot of them just sound like a stereotypical SUB deep voice actor. But being that 95% of the anime community is SUB glazers it’ll probably be forced to stay in SUB because they will get more viewers with it 🫠

How do y’all not realize that once if you actually truly understand a language and the structure of it it completely changes how you feel about it. If y’all aren’t from Japan or raised to speak Japanese by a native Japanese speaker then you’ll never really understand how to feel about that language. Y’all say English is cringe because y’all actually understand the English language. There’s plenty of interviews of native Japanese speakers saying that yes, anime is a little cringey to them. That’s because they actually live and breathe Japanese language and culture.
