Hello sir, I have started preparing for PAE 2025. The updated PDF of the PATENT ACT that I downloaded did not have a few of the definitions that you mentioned. What is the reference for MSME small entity criterion. Section 7 of the Micro, Small and Medium
Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (27 of 2006) does not have similar criterion
For providing benefits to startups and small entities these criterion has been provided.

If you go over these videos in sequence, you will realise that we are actually going through the patent lifecycle - and that's how the sections and rules come into play. All these videos have information about sections/rules with regards to use cases as per lifecycle of patent application.
@@AbhayPorwalWhenever I'm reading a particular section and I'm not able to comprehend the meaning of it, I watch your videos which has really helped me.But since I'm planing to give patent exam a shot which is in 2 months, I need guidance as of how to go about with learning.There are 162 sections,139 rules and 30 forms and when it comes to patent exam prep, they say all the sections,rules and forms are important.You have covered as much important sections as possible,but there are so many sections, rules and forms.Example, If I do not understand section 2, I can refer your content, but if I want to understand section 162 with the rules and forms associated with it which is not there in your channel, I'm lost.

Don't think from the "so many sections/rules", think from a story - the story line is there in the video series. Thankyou for the explanation Sir 😊, Sir can you explain in short just a little define to understand terms like:
1. Convention application
2. Patent of Addition
3. Prescribed & Prescribed manner
Convention application: Application which takes priority from application filed in other countries (Convention countries) - 12 months of time is provided for an applicant to file application in other countries claiming priority from the first filed application. (PCT gives you 30 months time!)
2. Patent of Addition - When you add/improve your invention - when such improvement/addition can't qualify inventive step criterion, you file this as patent of addition to the parent application. Such patent expires on the expiry of the parent patent.
3. Means - the way patent act whats you do to - there is a specific format and specific way that you need to do certain things - hence "Prescribed!"

@@amishah7351 Sorry for the delayed response, I didn't receive any notification for this query. While filing PCT national phase or Conventional application, you don't file a provisional application but a complete specification.

Just go slowly video wise - you will automatically start associating section numbers with the concepts.

Can u guide me to crack patent agent
Please go through the videos to get the basic understanding of the concepts which are applicable through the life cycle of a patent application. Once you have this understanding, you can read through the bare act which should be an easy read once you have seen these videos. Each video should be looked as a use case and what options are available in patents act to handle such uses case.
