Wow this is... beyond incredible especially the transition you made. Sometimes I think we downplay what Gilbert has gone through and how this may be the only chance he has at going to Sorbonne for his dream. It's what he always wanted. It's a terrible thing to choose between the love of your life or what you've always wanted out of life. I just hope that whichever he chooses... he will be happy with.

Fuck i'm crying. This is so beautiful, believe me. It's like his entire storyline and i love him and his story so much. It has been so strong and "alone" for so, so and so long. I loved it right away and never regretted it. Dead mother, sick and then dead father and he who literally took care of everything and was a genius at school. He's been through a lot and he's still strong. He is a beautiful, beautiful and again beautiful character. I love him. (Sorry for my English, i'm Italian)

When Anne with an e has the greatest plot in the world and has the best character development and doesn’t have major plot holes and gives a voice to real life problems like the orphanage and the women’s rights, freedom of speech’s from other stuff.
Along with loss and just really has gives a voice to those overlooked problems as well

Anne may be an orphan at birth, but Gilbert is also an orphan. His mom died giving birth to him, and then his dad died. I think it's another reason why #Shirbert, needs each other more than anything or anyone else. They've been through the same thing, except Anne had to endure so much pain, for her own age. At least that's what it looks like through her Flashbacks. I also read about Anne/Gilbert who lost a kid or two, but stayed together, it didn't tear them apart, like most movies I've seen. I think it brought them closer, because they were happy, and loved for 15 years. They are literally soulmates, and most people want that kind of love. If you think about it, everyone in the classroom would call names, and make fun of Anne, except her friends, and Gilbert. At least he knows no one would ever steal Anne from him. I know Anne is beautiful, but Gilbert would never truly be jealous because of that.

Heres something Ive noticed when watching Anne With An E:
Anne was adopted by the Cuthberts after having a full week to stay and to prove her worth to the cuthberts. Anne finally gets adopted and then it goes into Gilbert Father's death. It shows flashbacks of how Marilla and John were together and in love. (John is Gilberts dad) But what if Marilla and John got married? What if they had children, including Gilbert , then adopted Anne? Anne and Gilbert would be siblings, but technically not. Since she has no birth relation to anyone in that family, then it certainly means that Anne and Gilbert could date and marry. Yeah, thats cool- I guess-

to be honest, i dont think the actor is that handsome or beautiful but whenever he's on screen as Gillbert I cant take my eyes off him. Hey' pls don't hate, but I haven't watched AWAE and I keep watching vids like this and really wanna check it out but don't have Netflix lmao. So... what had happened to Gilbert? It seems like a relative died or more than one?
His dad died and he became an orphan, then he went to work on the ships and met Sebastian his best friend. Then Sebastians wife died and he lost her too. He went through a lot but in the end he found love with Anne :(
I hate his dad for dying on him. Like if you felt bad for Gilbert.
