Hi. I can relate to some of your experiences. I got into goat farming by accident. Someone, where we have a farm, was selling his goats. He was needing some money, and, he was leaving so couldn't take the goats where he was going. My nephews called me and asked me if we couldn't buy the goats. I agreed. I trusted their judgement. Then, we started buying. But, as you said we just bought anything we found. Now, about two years later, we have learned to take our time to buy. We would only buy the goats that are of good quality. For example, right now we are looking for one or two good male goats. We have had offers. But, we have turned them down. Before long, hopefully, we will get the type of goats we want.
