Anyways cool video brother that looks like a lot of fun I’m still trying to convince my brothers we need to go do this but they don’t seem to excited or interested but I ain’t giving up🤣

That’s right don’t give up. It is a cool experience being in the middle of forest camping by the creek. Thanks for watching.

It is such an amazing stream and the brookies or so aggressive. We were there end of August. We plan to do a 3 day trip in the Spring or early summer and go all the way up on 1 of the days. Part 2 is almost finished. Thank you for checking out my channel. Tight lines!

How do you like those boots? Do you use them just for wading or for hiking too on longer backcountry trips too?

Hi Corey, so far they have been great and exactly what I was looking for. This month makes it one year since I bought them. I have used them on 6 trips of 2-3 days each on the water for wet wading. Each time I used them they are used to hike in to my campsites then wade. They are very light with great traction and comfortable. I like boots with the tungsten studs, because I get better traction on the trail and getting out of steep creeks. I have hiked as far as 3 miles one way into my campsite. I always where wool socks then neoprene booties. They are a size smaller than my Korkers I where with my waders. I really don't lose much traction with the studs over the felt. I stopped wearing felt about 8-10 years ago. I appreciate you watching and commenting. Headed to the Great Smoky Mountains for some backcountry camping on some new water in the morning for 2 nights. Tight lines!

Im not going to name the stream but I love that watershed. Ive spent many many nights there. I once hiked up to the first feeder and camped where I wasnt supposed to and fished the whole gorge. Oddly enough, I caught rainbows, browns, and brookies all through there. A buddy and I did that campsite up high and hiked down to the famous area and caught some of my biggest brookies. The feeder creek that comes in just below the site you stayed at is slammed FULL of brookies. If you take the trail beside it, it crosses about .5 miles up and start there. I had a 50+ fish day there back in april 2014

We think a like. Our plan is to hit that famous place as well in the spring or summer. Thanks for tip on feeder stream. We were wandering if there were brookies in that one as well. We did not fish it on this trip.
