Lost dog (Sheltie) found in Chester County, Pa with thermal drone

- Another successful pet rescue for this 16-year-old cutie. Thermal drone technology is quickly finding its place in the lost pet search and rescue Anna. Katie, a 16-year-old sheltie had been missing for 36 hours in West Chester, Pennsylvania when we were called to assist in her search. Being arthritic, deaf, and partially blind I knew she was most likely not far from home so we started a very tight search grid around the owners house. Within about 40 minutes of searching we found her right beside a busy road with her face in a stream of water running along a ditch. Using our rangefinder built into the drone we were able to give a precise GPS Coordinates of her location and immediately send that to the owners phone so that she could quickly go in And retrieve her dog. Please give us a like and a follow and keep us in mind when searching for your lost pets.

Is the dog okay?
The dog had several existing health problems prior to getting lost; deaf, mostly blind, arthritic, early dementia etc. After the rescue they went to the vet and discovered water in her lungs and a tumor so she had crossed the rainbow bridge later that evening. The owner was grateful that I was able to give her the ability to be together with her one last time.
