Don’t blame him for going to Dortmund. Play for one of the biggest clubs in the world in the champions league or play against Oxford United. Certainly know which one id rather choose.

Should we apply the same logic to say Aaronson last year who went to play in the Bundesliga and the Champions League - no difference for me. If he stayed his value would rise so if he went we've just improved him for a year so he can move on - like Ben White
I'm not a Leeds fan but i think that it is a year or two too early to sell him. He's worth more to Leeds than any transfer fee that Dortmund would offer,as he'll be pivotal in getting you promoted and also will have a higher transfer value after another year of professional football. Dortmund are a good club for development, but do not pay top dollar for players. He still has plenty of time to develop,regardless of who may be coaching him next season so leaving now seems hasty. Securing a hefty sell-on clause might sound good, but the opportunity of doing that will still be there next season...

There is rush for Archie. Another season makes a lot of sense for both Archie and Leeds. He has only had one season in senior football so isnt ready for Dortmund and the Bundesliga. One more season at Leeds to develop and then a move to Germany would be ideal.

Perspective: There's c.10 weeks of the transfer window still to go. Historically, the last 10 days is when deals are done. Adams also said he wanted to fight for promotion. We saw how that turned out! Appreciate there's a need to generate content, but sometimes the fairy dust is laid on a tad thick.
Gray should be a big priority to keep, it’d show a serious lack of ambition to sell him.
To be honest I’d rather keep Cree than gray how many points did Cree win for Leeds compare that to steady gray who never grabbed games by the neck unlike Cree look in an ideal world keep both but looks like we can’t

I don't want Archie to go, however if Dortmund are serious and stump up a good price with good add ons then I would probably prefer him to go there than most other clubs.
To basically give Archie away on the cheap not only speaks of a lack of ambition, it would be incredibly short-sighted given his potential. If we manage to get promotion this year he's worth minimum £50m next summer and would also be a potentially key player for us in the EPL, unless his development somehow goes into reverse. The only reason I can see for selling at a knockdown feee (i.e. anything below £40m) is that the financial constraints have got such a stranglehold on us that we have to raise funds to avoid FFP sanctions.
The reality is, for archies career its a must move, he would develop far quicker at Dortmund than he would at leeds. Their coaching staff are head and shoulders above what we have.
It would be disappointing but football is a business, and lets face it under Farke, there isnt any pathway for our youngsters. If they make the squad, most rot on the bench. We've seen it the past season and there is nothing to suggest that, that will change next season.

If Archie goes I believe it’s because of issues between Archie’s agent Hayden Evan’s who controls lots of the kids at Leeds. Andy Gray (Archie’s dad) works for Evan’s and so does Richard Cresswell (Charlie’s dad) and we know he was fuming about the treatment Charlie got from FARKE which has basically cost Charlie a whole season of not playing. If the move happens look out for young Harry Gray also making the move to Dortmund too. Hayden Evan’s is a long time season ticket holder so not usually speaking out of turn about his beloved Leeds Utd and he’s usually fairly close to the directors, so think a lot will happen shortly on a few fronts with his players
Dortmund would be a good move for him, for his development etc. all depends on him, the Gray family and obviously the fee. Couldn’t blame Archie for going if it was to happen.
Problem is if we don't sell gnonto and Summerville Archie will have to go

The German league plus 2 others had much better results in European competitions last season. A very big drop off, the Premier was actually quite poor last season.
We have Harry coming through to replace him and with sell on clauses, why not? We can keep Summerville then.

I don't think Archie will go for another two seasons. But he will be leaving. Leeds lack ambition and have done for 20 years.

£20 Mill for Archie is an absolute joke, he is our best prospect by a mile and if the club let him go there will be a lot of very unhappy fans, the good feeling the club have achieved since the takeover will go down the toilet.
